CD of Laima got reduced from 52 to 47 seconds in kTOS, so assuming we get that patch eventually, level 5 is enough.
Humm, but we cannot expect have the same patch notes than kTOS.
and @raindelay I’m not sure yet, but I think i’ll to Oracle or Druid and after PD (just because the outfit. Really. If Kabbalist had that outfit I would go Kabbalist)
But what if I have Krivis C3 and I’m casting Melstis? (was thinking about going Diev C3 > Krivis C3 to try it)
Melstis will keep the buff duration on, not the statue itself
Meltis from from Krivis C3 can only “freeze” the duration of Buff that have duration (any buff that have number of duration below your HP / SP bar).
Including HP and SP potion usage.
So it would not freeze the duration of zone buff like Laima, World Tree, Zemyna.
However, Meltis can freeze the Ausrine buff (but only if you get the Ausrine Buff before using Meltis).
Some tips to players who are leveling as a dievdirby, sadly I can’t update the thread anymore due to account problems (switching facebook default email renders my tos forum account unusable)
Yes, because if you dont max carve you will lose out on a great filler skill. Its FAR better than auto attacking. If you dont max it, yes it is useless. Not amazing damage but its a filler skill and a good as one.
And yes that is the thing that might make or break it when youre world bossing. With low lvl carve attack your stands to get a cube are lower. Its all about min maxing at world bosses.
Also as a Dievdoctor I dont see where else I would even put the points? Its just that useful filler even while grinding, especially with a linker. (Im lvl228 atm)
I see, so it isn’t a good idea going that path, ty.
Priapus should need no Melstis.
Ausrine is actually one of my favorite skills. At lvl 6 with divine might I can refresh it’s duration before the buff is over by running over the circles again 1 or 2 times. Being druid 2 and cleric 2 i can then sterea and safety zone for even more invincibility.
Ofc most people don’t know how to use ausrine or the server lag makes it poop and not activate
The difference between lvl 1 carve and lvl 15 carve is 5580 damage every 17 seconds.
Is really that great for 14 skills levels?
I think no. If I have a good mace, buffed with pardoner buffs, that 5580 will have no difference at high levels at all. My main damage is not carve. It’s Owl, Carnivory, incineration… (ok, not good incineration on WB, but whatever)
Like I said, I’ll drop those points on Zemyna.
For leveling Carve Attack was very helpful but once I was done I don’t think it’s worth too.
So I have a reset and planning to changing my Skills to this:
Focused on ET/PvP support/utility.
Any thoughts?
Anyone?

Looks good,
I still prefer a high level carve over a high level laima.
Thanks for checking!
I’m trying to take advantage of my statues as much as possible. Control the field. CC like crazy and facilitate my team. Both ET and PvP.
In WB I understand I’ll probably fail. Not going druid either.
I was going to go Diev3>Druid2 until i was with a party last night with someone who is Diev3>Priest, and that amazeballed me so much with his AA attack with his own Blessing and Sacrament ( i think he used the scroll )
i decided to play around with the build again, and this is what i got:
basically this is like you can almost solo anywhere with the Blessing and Sacrament + with your Cure, Heal, Carve, damage are going to be quite good for a full INT build at least.
what do you think of this build?
Thanks
Laima more than it needed for CD, i think, don’t necessary. 6-7lv is enough. Enemies do not stand in one place for a long time, it is easier to put a new Laima statue after CD.
Good build. I think, maybe make same.
Laima lv5 is enough, 2 second difference is too little, unless if your group move a lot then it’s hard,
but in reality, if you are in a Pug, they will most likely move all the time, as they just want to quickly end the mission,
there are so many times where i pop up my Laima and Owl statue, and it only lasted around 10 seconds before the team moves into the next one, lol
and on the next encounter, you will not know what to do since your statue are all CD, sometimes i just pop the Zemyna just because it’s the only statue i can use, lol
I’m 250 now (slow asf progress but whatever).
My current thoughts on some skills
Laima = Lv 7 + divine might is enough, there’s a bug where some skills get permanently affected by laima when you weapon swap like chortas, carnivory and cure. But since IMC doesn’t even give a shi.t about actually fixing the damn thing since weapon swapping or putting down zemyna is the only way to make non-overheat skills reduce CD I’m not even gonna care.
Zemyna = Useful, archers will love you, poor plebs who can’t buy (or don’t know how to buy) alchemist pots will also love you. Counter-acts the bug with laima statue not affecting certain skills.
Ausrine = With max level you can already get permanent invulnerability (for druids) by rotating safety zone, sterea tropfh and ausrine. Get chuckles when people try to but fail in using your ausrine.
Vakarine = Lvl 1, 2lazy2buyscrolls
Owl = You know whats faster than the DPS this thing dishes out? The amount of time it takes for it to be pushed around.
World Tree = Good for clearing rooms in dungeons, or when your tank decides its a good idea to aggro and high guard a room filled with mages.
Carve Attack = Good against bosses (with chortasmata), barely use it anymore for anything that isn’t a boss. Attempt to not to piss people off by the amount of useless untradeable wood you’re stuffing in their inventories.
Dont do that. P2 is less than you can buy from a pardoner in terms of offensive power and too little in the def department.
P2 will not add more than a true R7
If you truly want to be about autoattacks drop a diev rank, drop a cleric rank and get chaplain but I don’t recommend it on diev.
