I just reinstalled and updated the game, and logged in after having not played since a couple weeks after the games release.
My question is, did I just miss my chance to enjoy the returning player bonus event that’s patched in tomorrow’s maintenance tomorrow?

Welcome back!
Long story short, I couldn’t find any specific wording that would indicate your disqualification.
In cases of uncertainty like this, it is safe to assume that you may have “blew it”. As such, I highly recommend that you submit a ticket right away to explain your predicament and hopefully a satisfactory conclusion is reached.

Thank you for dropping in Meow; Hopefully there is a positive answer from support, as I’ve just sent off a ticket. Unfortunately I didn’t realise the patch notes until I installed, checked everything was in order logging in, then logged off to go read the notes.
Which led me here…
Nevertheless, staying optimistic.
I truly wish they give you a pass. I mean they are trying to promote the return of old players and such.

It says that the reward is for people who haven’t logged in during May 2017, so if he just logged in then he lost his chance to get this bonus.

Did the same thing - just logged in yesterday after being gone for 5+ months…kind of sad now.
Knowing IMC this event will apply to all players no matter when you logged in. Just like how they gave everyone the green penguin, even though they didn’t post on the Facebook post.
Either they give all players or end up giving returning players yet another imc’ed experience.
Yeah, if u check the reddit topic on /r/treeofsavior you guys will see your not alone on this… pretty much every player who had hopes of returning did update the game and log in to see if it was working fine, or how they´re characters were in the account, remember how much money they had, etc…
Honestly they should have just made it much simpler, like say reward anyone with an account created before May through the week. There, old players, current players and returning players happy.
It’s possible that this is poor wording on IMC’s part and what it actually means is that every account created before May will be able to participate in the event.
We’re going to have to wait and see I think.The wording is super weird.
They should make the returning event for all accounts and then the new player event, for all character made after update (not team)
same I came back from a long hiatus a few days ago and I’m now I’m thinking it might just be better to make a fresh steam account and play from the beginning again. My highest character was 200 and the rest of my characters are sub 100. Probably best just to make a fresh start of it…

I’m kinda sad with that as well, came back from the game end of april after a 1 1/2 year break. I hope they give us the bonus as well. I wish they give it to all old accounts (2015/2016 ones).
