Do you even know if we have no stat caps? I’d say the caps could be at 300(dunno if anyone has any stat on 300 rnow). Also, its almost impossible to hit 100% crit rate, so unless they changed that, luck stat would be useless.
Early game STR>DEX? Late game DEX>STR?
Early game you gain far more survivability by building DEX ( over STR or CON ) to at least 30~50 on any non-wiz class. You also gain hit and a small amount of crit chance that helps. Your weapon damage makes up for the lack of strength, so you don’t notice it. I’ve restat archer / cleric / swordsman from pure STR to pure DEX at lvl 50, and found that pure DEX is by far better at lower levels.
At higher levels, it doesn’t make sense ( I’ve made 170’s - archer / swordsman ). At some point, you’re going to crit enough that you don’t need more DEX. 100~120 is enough, depending on your weapon setup and class ( green gems or yellow gems, etc ). Once you hit that point, you naturally just build STR to get more physical attack and crit attack.
I’ll agree that weapon damage and the +'s on a weapon outclass STR. That doesn’t mean it’s worthwhile to just not get STR.
While we are on the subject of DEX, I want to ask the high level players, how many Accuracy do you need for PVE and PVP ?
I believe that they should buff STR, or give us a reason to put some points into CON, given that there is no open PvP, and PvE is quite easy, so any user that play slighly carefully, can go glass cannon and just don’t die to anything.
Full DEX Sadhu?? OOB can’t even crit… this is either a troll or a really bad build.
Get evasion out of the game completely. Dex stat affects critical hit chance so physical based jobs benefit from it and lower skill cooldown so magic based jobs can also benefit from it. This way I can play a LOL-like combat in a MMORPG
If DEX is to be nerfed, I hope it will be split into DEX and AGI.
- Remove the evasion from DEX and buff up the increase in crit rate per point invested, accuracy scaling is fine as it is
- New stat AGI will give evasion and atk speed / skill cast / skill animation speed increase.

Something I think they could do regarding Dex if they split it into multiple stats is allow the closening of the attack damage range. That was something I liked about RO’s Dex as it made your damage more consistent instead of erratic. Made the difference between sometimes one-shotting and always one-shotting, and I thought that was pretty nice honestly.
