Despite all the whiners, I'm loving this game!

This thread is in support of IMC. So far this game is great and I have very little to complain about. I totally agree with IMCs policies regarding RMT and token trading, because I am old enough to have played other MMOs and I have seen first-hand what works and what doesn’t work. In fact, I bought a second founder’s package today to show my support, and I plan to purchase tokens as well when they are for sale later. All of the whiners on these forums are a small irrelevant percentage of players - most people who can actually support the game and keep it online are already logged on and enjoying ToS. Good job IMC and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us!

Post here if you agree IMC is doing great! No ragers and whiners please, you folks already have your 20+ threads that repeat the same inane arguments floating around on these forums.

Enjoy it while you can. F2P launch is going to be a new sort of hell for all sorts of reasons and the botting will get even worse. That being said, I’m enjoying the game too. Everything is decent and fun except their trade. It’s the key feature where they’re punishing honest players in efforts to try to stop RMT.

But there’s no report features, odd. Players can’t even be reasonable eyes and ears for support staff to handle bots and other malicious activity. What you think IMC has staff just studying botting trends? They barely have staff to reset servers after major issues that cripple gameplay.
But the biggest complaint just happens to be about money. How interesting for IMC to stand so boldly against changing their stance on something that was fine and dandy just not too long ago in Closed Betas.

Anyways everyone’s got their own say in the matter. And most who still have love in their heart for IMC would say it’s a minority that reviews games, post on forums, etc etc. I’d turn around and say it’s a minority that would ever RMT when if you really wanted to turn money into in-game advantage there’s tokens to sell etc and it’s completely legit by the devs/publishers.

Yet here we are, affected by the minority

Here, here. Have not had this much fun in a long, long time. I have no complaints with anything. I paid money, knowing and willingly, to participate in a game I knew wasn’t ready. In fact, I started with the $10 just to stick my toes in the water and yesterday purchased the $50 pack, despite the incoming discount, because this is a product worth my time and money – it’s great already and can only grow from here.

I find most all of the negativity to be extremely ignorant, petty, and born of entitlement. Developers are very generous to give us a client born of their work. If they want to “pay wall” then good on them, they’ve done more than enough by letting me try their game at no cost – I have no right to complain about any way they choose to pay their bills. If it’s good, I’ll sub/buy, etc. if not, I’m out and not at a loss from purchasing a client I will never again load. The idea is so consumer friendly, yet those who would not likely purchase a client or ever spend a red cent are so loud, those of us paying to play are often drowned out.

Thank you, IMC, for a game that is nothing but a joy to spend time with.

The trade system does not seem to be affecting my MMO community group much. From iCBT1 to now, we’ve conducted less than 12 trades between the 20 of us.

Items that are uncommon get outdated quickly and anything really worth trading is too rare, meaning trades were pretty much similar.

The only thing that required us to trade 1-2 items at once during iCBT1 and iCBT2 were rare mats for some of the recipes. Otherwise, common recipes and their mats could easily be farmed individually.

I’m interested to know what people are trading so heavily.

The only ones I feel who are truly harmed by a limited trade system are those looking to trade and sell massive commodities of goods quickly.

I want to thank IMC for letting them push me around and telling me what to do. I don’t need to complain, I’ll just shut up because I don’t want to get whipped by IMC. Take all my money! Put my head in the toilet! I love you guys still.

Me too 150 hours played so far on Steam, I’ve tried so many different combination of classes don’t get me wrong the game has flaws that need attention.

Most of time, when you’re not being helpful in other subforums, you say condescending and negative things towards players and generally aim to get a rise out of people. I am positive this thread aims to do the same just based on how you’re replying.

No need to be mad that I called you out. Just wait like 30 minutes for me to go grab something to eat and make another topic.

I specifically asked for no whiners in this thread. Thanks for “calling me out” (on the Internet nonetheless) and ruining another thread not targeted for you. I have seen your other posts too, and you are almost always bashing IMC. I’m not “mad” as this thread was never even intended for you; you came in here to be sassy and to tell me I am wrong. Congrats man, you are really proving your point.
