I wanted to thank IMC for making such a fun and intuitive game. I have spent quite a bit of time (although not as much as my friends, but maybe someday!) with this beautiful thing, and while it has its issues, it’s still fun. Every MMO has issues at first. This game is no exception, and while it’s not acceptable to just excuse all the issues the game has, it’s also not acceptable to be solely negative toward a company that is trying.
I know the golden rule of retail is “If you’re doing your job perfectly, you will never get feedback,” but I just wanted to thank IMC for making this game that has brought me into a group of people that I really care about and enjoy the company of, and thank them for making such a fun game for me to spend so much time on. I haven’t stuck with an MMO this hard since MapleStory (9 years~), and here’s hoping I can stick with this just as long, if not longer.
People should consider trying to avoid as much as possible what’s currently bad in the game and try to make use of what good the game has to offer for now, instead of facerolling on the issues.
Every game have issues in the start, but its the first one I play that the maintances brings more bugs than solutions. And the wrost: Its the same bugs that we already had before. They simply cant fix it permanently.
@andre_luiz_gomes The point of the post was positivity, and you missed it entirely by being a downer.
They are a small development team. There will be errors, it happens. Hell, this is still better than early MapleStory, which broke several entire classes multiple times through its first year of global.
I feel like people tend to focus way more on the negative than necessary. Yeah, sometimes not everything works, but the game is still fun and playable regardless.
It’s OK, I’m on Fedimian and I enjoy the game as well.
@PellOfTheTundra I’m with you OP. I haven’t stuck so hard on an MMO since Burning Crusade days. I was actually starting to think MMOs were not for me any more. Game has issues aplenty but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying what’s already there. Swanky avatar you got there.
My brain was completely somewhere else when I was writing my reply. So many missing words and other weirdness. Oops.
@cddog yep, it’s nice to see people who are enjoying the game for what it is. It could be so much better but hey, it could also have had boring 3D graphics, aweful music and linear class progression that involved no choices.
I know you dont care about it, but I will writte for someone who will read.
You know they are a Enterprise right?
You know the main objective of the creation of the game is generate Money. And I’m OK with that!!! . But Its not for love, for the players or anything else. Is like a fair trade of interests. Again: I’m ok with that.
Keeping that in mind, since the game on the early acess was on TOP 1 to 3 on Steam for almost the entire month, even the high expensive packages, you can say that it was a lot of money that entered just on the early acess.
Well, If you have a companie, and you offer something to lots and lots of people and you dont have the people in proportion to resolve all the problem, you need to get more people. THIS IS A ENTERPRISE.
Your argue was not valid.
I like this companie, for real, they at least listen to the players. Just as people in Brazil complained about the publisher, so they give up the publisher to make a Latin Steam Server. That was awesome. They had shown that the companie care about what you think.
I love the game. I use the game to wake up on the morning, because the knowledge that I will take my character and feel like inside the game is a real good motivation. The problem is when you stop to be romantic about it and start to see the problems, so you become a hopefull person that the game will be better, because we believe in the companie. I believe. That is why complain about the game is not wrong, also give up can be wrong too.
BUT I cant stand seeing this types of argues that make no sense as you wrotte right there. A romantic no sense view about how things work.
I actually play on Fedimian and enjoy the game aswell, even if I don’t know how to farm for silver in short time, got no token yet and I’m slow af. But I’m not such a hardcore player after all, so it doesn’t bother me. I prefer being careful on my build rather than rush to max level.
Anyway, such wonderful music, design, places, art, stories too (yeah, I read dialogues)! They did a good job!
