[Desperate Solve]Game Wont Launch, Help!

Way I Solve at bottom in box.

Date and Time : After 29th March was able to open the game before 29th March2016 just okay

Bug Description :

As you can see here for sooommee reason the bottom part of the patcher is cut off and ive tried all kinds of things to fix this and tried almost everything in the forums possible.
Directx fix. No Work.
Verify Game intergretity. No Work.
Uninstalled Redownloading Installing. No work.
Clean uninstall and reinstall with antivirus off and with Run As Adminstrator. No work.

Everytime i verify my game intergrity i get this…

I’ve already tried uninstalling my antivirus as well. and turning it off as well. thinking it is deleting my files which causes it to keep re-acquiring files… But no same thing each time i verify.

Okay. So after the mis-aligned patcher. It disappears and i get my hopes up thinking the game will launch But no. Nothing comes out.
But in the background it shows the client is still running…

Nothing happens and i tried waiting it out. And still nothing.
I tried email-ing the support team but all in vain no replies for a few days already and here i was expecting a “prompt” reply. Lol. No errors pop up as well it just stays there and do nothing.

System

  • CPU : intel i5 -6600k Skylake
  • RAM : 8GB
  • Graphics Card : GTX 960
  • Mainboard : Asus Rampage VIII Ranger
  • OS : Windows 10

Oh yeah. Im playing this on my Windows 7 laptop which is pretty old and level 60++ so it works just fine but lags and stutters when some big stuff happen which makes the game not fun so i dont want to stay there… with my laptop so its not my internet or anything like that.

Desperate Last Resort Solving.

Was finally able to fix it by doing a full clean Reformat for my PC. Cleaned all the drivers and reinstalled everything. Finally able to launch the game. For me reformatting is for last resort and last resort only. i’ve spent close to 12 hours searching for solutions but all to vain.

I did however find a clue or hint on Why it may be broken. Has something to do with the Microsoft Visual C++ 100. how to fix it i do not know other than reformatting sorry guys. This is like if you really desperate to play haha. How to reformat just google. reformat. i did a clean reformat which also wipes and cleans all data on my disks. which may not actually needed.
After reinstalling everything i turned on the internet lastly to install google chrome and steam and also did windows update to get some updates.

Possible Alternative(Not Tested Yet)

you can try is to do a clean uninstall of your Graphics Driver. Uninsatll microsoft visual C++ in your add/drop programs in control panel. and then Download Nvidia latest driver. (Don’t know about AMD).
Turn off internet while installing.
Install nvidia latest driver > Custom installation > Clean Installation.
Microsoft C++ redistribute will be installed along the nvidia…

Just a though. Not sure it works. If anyone cares to try feel free and report back :grin:
Don’t blame me if anything bad happens(unlikely) just reinstalling drivers anyways.

this happened the first time after installing tos. reinstall and the launcher works, it loads eventho still misaligned. Today after tos updates on steam, it doesnt load anymore. I want to continue playing :frowning:

My patcher has always been like that but ive been able to play since day one. My game closed today and i’m having this problem with the launcher closing but no client poping up. Tried to validate files but no avail (it always find the 14 files) Im reinstaling the game now. Also, i tried to replace the xml files.

Ive been able to launch the game during cbt but for me mine started to have problems on 29th march :sob:

Going to REFORMAT my whole computer now. Last resort wish it works this time.

Ahhh… It feels like the OP is posting on my behalf, what with his specs being almost exactly like mine. My laptop is working fine, but it’s old and a little laggy on the FPS. I’m not sure if I was able to ever run on my PC, never had the chance to. I don’t even get the error notification. The launcher just… Stays blank… =(

I got mine to work. Just had to uninstall the game and steam and reinstall it in a diferent folder.,

I want to play again so bad. It’s getting annoying if i have to keep uninstall and reinstall the game after every minor updates on steam. I wish they have a solution for this. Indont want to reformat my pc :sob:

Ahh… I am unwilling to format my laptop just for one game. I don’t even know how good the game is. I did re-download the game again, and installed it in a different folder. Still nothing changed.

I don’t expect the dev to fix the issue so fast, but I did hope that they would at least acknowledge the problem, something to show that they even look at the issues around here. Is that too much to ask?
(Yes, I’ve said the exact same thing in another place, but I want some sort of reaction, at least to validate that the devs are looking)

You could try my alternative solution that i put on the bottom but i have not tested. do a clean uninstall of your graphics driver. search on web for nvidia/amd uninstaller. and uninstall microsft visual as well. both of them. and download latest graphics driver and install without internet on. shouldnt do anything breaking cause we are just reinstalling the graphics driver and not messing with the system stuff. Microsoft C++ visual should be reinstalled along with the graphics driver. Comes in along the installer…

on the side note. The game is very good :slight_smile:

Not sure if it’s a fix on their side, or because I am in my apartment a few hundred kilometers from where I was during the weekend, but the game launches now.
Give it another try, those who did not yet.

(Posted this in another topic, but wanted to let those who subscribed to this topic know, as well)
