Actually I’m just doing my part to help clean up the forums. We shouldn’t openly be posting exploits here in the public especially without solid proof and rigorous investigation into the matter.

Hm… I see. The report is convincing for me.
Who posted it is the owner of a 27k facebook fan page of ToS.
So I guess it may be true. And since it seens to be something that may have a huge impact in Silute, I’ll repost it so the Staff may say something about it.
Actually earlier today, there was a post and video of said crashing.

Lol I’m on my phone and having issues with posting. But I just found it under oblation search. The person actually placed it under the bug tab, so s/he was reporting it I believe and stating possible practiconium abuse??

I’m sure the GMs don’t need you gatekeeping the forums for them, and if you’d notice, this was posted in the Gameplay Bug Reports section of the forum, exactly where this kind of post belongs.
Maybe make sure to check where you are before you start harassing and accusing people?

You contributed nothing to the thread. You just showed up and called OP a liar and accused him of spreading misinformation, because you blindly assumed you knew more about the situation than he did.
Simply put, you were an ■■■■■■■ then acted like you were doing the community a favor by being one. I just decided to call you out on it. How you decide to interpret that is up to you.

Actually the person who I responded to knew exactly the reason why I made that post then provided more information about the Facebook group and everything. You coming into this topic had no merit what so ever other than disrupting it to say nothing related to the thread’s purpose pretty much attacking me.
We both knew it is a problem otherwise along with the growing trends on the forum currently to deny existence of any problems or nit pick at people like you just did right there.

What did it accomplish by accusing OP of being a liar and spreading misinformation, then acting like you were doing the community a favor? All it seems to have done is make you look rude and egotistic. Pretty much the kind of person you would supposedly be forum gatekeeping against.
Also it’s pretty funny that you’re accusing ME of YOUR behavior. I’m not the one who showed up insulting and harassing OP for reporting a bug. Anyways, it doesn’t really matter anymore. You made yourself look like a fool, OP was right, and that’s all there is to this now. Hope the issue gets patched soon.

The way you directly targetted and speak to me still carrying on like you are not aware of what goes on around the forums now suggests to me something fishy. I really do not even care to speak about this any more because it is kind of obvious now.

Are your fellow peers authorities in TOSs programming or how can they assure you that crashes were fixed? Just because they couldn’t find a way to crash a channel it does not mean that no ways to crash a channel exist anymore. Or are your fellow peers claiming that they know all bugs TOS could ever have?
How is a bug report spreading misinformation?
Are you advocating that players should deliberately try to crash channels over and over again in order to get enough information for a bug report? I don’t think that’s a good idea, especially since crashing channels is against the rules in the first place.
“Hey IMC, apparently the channel crashes when i use that skill X under these cirtumstances Y. Please look into it” is more than enough for a bug report, it is the devs job to find out what exactly happened, not the players.
And yes, with some game developers and some bugs it is needed to post bugs in the public forums in order to “encourage” a fast fix.
Also, this is a “Bug report” subforum, so i don’t know what’s so bad about someone posting a bug report in a bug report forum.

I’d like to ask for people stopping citing my name directly or indirectly. The channel crashing we were talking some time ago WAS fixed and was caused by a 3rd-party hack tool. More like, the exploit the tool used was patched, doesn’t work anymore.
When you’re talking about a skill crashing a channel it’s a different issue causing a similar problem. Just like a bad painting on a wall can be caused either by a person going and messing up things (3rd-party hack tool) or can be something on the environment that fell on it and ruined it.
