Warlock Spirits does not count as summons sadly. Yeah I know I’ll lose some damage but I want something functional not necessarily meta.
I was thinking about using SPR equip but Triukas accesories. With force wave being my element (dark) woulr buff my Ignas damage too . I guess I’ll have to test. Thx for the answer
Yeah in this case it’s mostly going to depend on if the ubild does enough damage to clear the content you want to play, try it and see.

After re:build my dark wizard was sorc-warlock-bokor build as half INT half SPR and it was really enjoyable and fun to play until the point they changed summon damage, then it was simply not working, so I changed sorc to FF and went full INT caster. Works better, but much less fun

FF isn’t completely dead. I mean its damage got utterly gutted but the synergies still work : Shadow Fetter still make flying opponents grounded for Kurdaitcha, Mastema still counts as a curse for the Witch Doctor attribute. Also Kurdaitcha damage is easier to apply and procs better DR hits.
The meta DPS build right now is SM-Pyro-Chrono, so I think if you want to build optimal dark damage you’d go something like SM-WL/Bokor-Chrono
I’ve reskilled my dark wizard exactly as before (wlk + bokor + FF) because I have 12+ chars and don’t want to spend ages reskilling them. FF still works fine, you just need to shuffle skills around (for example: Bone Pointing hits hard now and should be maxed). If you want better DPS, switch to shadowmancer (if it’s not in your build). For me I don’t like that class at all so I kept FF…
Yeah that surprised me… Chronomancer was not touched at all, so there must be something I don’t understand which made people switch back to chrono.
Chronomancer was touched, pass went from 40% CDR to 60% cdr at level 5, 72% CDR with gem at lvl 6, that’s why every class plays it. Warlock and SM are very strong.
Now that IMC has deleted the synergies between classes so the strongest combo is the strongest classes combined with the class that is meant to be synergized with other classes. SM has the most damaging skill rotation (infernal shadow + thorn), Pyro has good damage too and uses a lot of magic circles that can be extended with backmasking.
I’ve tried WL SM Chrono and yeah it works nice. Backmasking works on PoA and increases the number of spirits spawned by the arts, slow is a good movespeed buff, pass is just really strong overall and the time rush vaivora is a great damage boost.
I haven’t tried Bokor so I can’t tell, but right now the damage featherfoot provides isn’t up to par with SM and WL so I’ll ditch it for now. Who knows maybe when wizard update hits ktos in a few months there’ll finally be a vaivora for FF and it’ll become good again but right now it’s not worth it

Going to try SM-WL-Bokor and then swap out Bokor for Chrono to see if I like it.
From personal experience, FF doesn’t work, hexing doesn’t even reduce magic defense. Chrono is not good enough for SM WL because by the time you use Pass the skill cooldowns are not long enough.
I have been playing SM WL BK and so far it performs better than any other variation. Also tried ele instead of BK but BK performs better and has a way simpler playstyle that fits inside any rotation.
Yeah SM WL BK is one of the top damage builds in WBR, I’ll give a try to the build see how good it is.

After some quick and incomplete testing I feel like BK gives out more damage but Chrono gives more utility : movespeed, better survivability with lower cd on the shields, etc
Skill gems are top skills + ghastly trail.
I don’t find chrono utility necessary thanks to shadowmancers incredible utility, but everyone is free of playing what they like.

I don’t have demonische lv4 yet so I can’t test but there’s a synergy between pass and Invocation and, given how strong invo is I wonder if it’s worth keeping chrono for.
I guess you could add infernal shadow gem on top of ghastly for the sweet +12%
as i said, top skills have skill gems, and there are 7 skills + 1 trail.
