I have a question. How exactly does work limacon? In order use it like running shot i have to level up an attribute or simple level the skill?

Yes you need it to be level uped and attributes will let it hit more. It’s a expensive version of running shot.

But i can start using it immediately when i reach out sr, or wait to c3?

SR1 has it, SR 3 has bounce.

it seems to be much harder to get stronger
for my SR i am focusing on retreat shot above all skills, i wouldn’t spend anything on limacon early on.

If you only put skill points into limacon, it’s literally just a pistol autoattack with a bit higher damage (nothing really noticeable) and no movement penalty. It gets up to x2 better with enhance attributes and up to x2 of that with bounce attribute at SR3. It’s not fantastic

I was thinking in a skill build like this:

Retrat shot 15
Forward shot 5
Limacon 15
Concentrared fire 10

hmm personally im gonna do limacon 10 and concentrated fire 15
just personal preference. Concentrated fire with vubbe gloves and full aoe ratio gear is better imo

Concentrated fire has a pretty long charging time at 15. It’s much, much better than limacon, but you won’t always have the time to charge it to max if you solo

i think you have to think carefully of your budget in between limacon and concentrate fire.

limacon isn’t your ordinary skill, as it take that much $$$ to feel its damage. plus, you need a good mainhand weapon… yes, Limacon damage scales with mainhand and not your pistol (which is damn weird).

unlike concentrate fire, which is given that you’d need to have a good pistol. the only downside is its casting time, and also ping dependent (i have to extra charge for .5 ~ .6 seconds because the delay only throws level 10 instead of 15 even when the casting bar is full)

limacon sure is better, but it takes $$$$$$$ to make it work.

STR DEX 1 : 2 , don’t go full dex maybe STR got buff next update better safe than buy IMC stats reset, invest attribute retreat shoot first , xbow is isbality 3 yellow gem and off hand mana2 red gem

maybe because of this? and also this:

i myself do have 15 concentrate shot. but i had this feeling limacon is better if invested well (11k bouncing atk). but i don’t have that leisure so i didn’t went for it. again, only if you got $$$$$$$$$$$. it would be better i guess :joy:

just found this interesting video, he’s a QS SR he got a stage 4 transcendence DGC and hits for like 20k total
He shows all his gear at the beginning of the video.
