Curious about Capture build

Out of pure curiousity. How would you picture an ideal Capture build?

The idea is a trapper-like gameplay. Putting down several persistent AoE damage-over-time effects and then capturing them all together.

What would you take apart from obvious Rogue1 and Mergen1? Wugushi2? Sapper2/3? Fletcher2? Scout1?

Note that you can only capture [skill level] amount of traps, so depending on how you utilise it you need Rogues 2 and possibly 3.

Apart from that, Capture’s cooldown is 180s, which is long to use it effectively (cooldown only starts when you release skills).

As for which skills I would pick (considering only my own skills, not team mate’s capturable skills), in this order:
Arrow Sprinkler -> Throw Gu Pot -> Broom Trap -> Flare Shot.

Going just these skills would require Archer 2 Sapper 2 Wugu 2 Rogue 1 Mergen 1, and it’ll still miss out on Flare Shot.

Ideally, we would want Capture’s cooldown to be reduced dramatically first before all else.

So Broom Trap is good after all? I wanted to try Sapper3-Falc3 once, but never did and my guildmates who tried Sapper3 discouraged me telling it’s no damage.

It’s up there in the list because there are not many Archer skills tha are capturable, and it’s one of the more damaging ones that are.

Broom Trap falls off quite a bit even with the attribute, however I have no idea how would the new damage formulas affect its usability once that hits. It’s damage, however, with Rodelero/Murmilo/Lethargy/Monk debuffs add up to quite a bit, and Kagura boosts it too, so with the right party it can deal substantial damage.

So Magical Arrow is non-capturable?

It is, but with 5s CD and 100% uptime you’re better off spamming the actual skill.
