Cross fire and mergen. SPR archer?

Hi all i don’t know why ppl wait mergen c2 at r9 for have 0 cd skill to spam.

Here is already crossfire, 2k base dmg lv 15 no cd - influnced by latency.

Now even considering rapid fire skill, we don’t know if will be AoE or not, also consume more SP than crossfire.

Only reason i see ppl complain about crossfire is big sp usage.

But if rapid fire will be same or more is not the same problem?

Since dmg can be gain easy with new weapon and transcendence, and DEX over 300 invested may be useless.

So why don’t use ellaganos card and go for 160 spr rest dex for CR? From 2k mana to 4500 and from 150 sp rec to 350.

You can mergen burst ----> endless cross fire.

What do you think?

Ofc i don’t ask someone to test for me. If i belive in something i will go for it. Even if is a fail.

Just want to know what ppl think about this, since i was far away to make a Fletcher again, but this pathsound intresting at last for me.

It could be possible without investing in SPR.

High-level blue gems on top and bottom armor.
+Max SP and +SP Recovery stats on 3 hair costumes.
Lv.15 condensed mana pots.
Some cards may be able to help boost SP recovery even more.

for fletcher mergen i really need my air gear AAR. it improve overall dmg alot a part for cross fire that have a defined area.

and about the recovery SP cards they work better in low lvl farm or field farm because you kill more monster for the proc. while in dungeon and high lvl map with 300/400k hp and the spam nature of cross fire will be still a big lack. for what i know most of SP proc come with kill or get dmg not by simply skill enemy.

Imo it would work in lower ranks, due to the comparatively high skill damage. In late game content, you might suffer a lot due to poor scaling (transcendence weapon for damage and gears for crits maybe, would be real hard though).

Also, crossfire roots you. It wouldn’t be possible to position yourself well and spam at the same time. Lose tons of efficiency there. To be fair though, excluding the fact that poor scaling of crossfire damage to skill level comparing to the sp consumption, if crossfire does not root us while casting ( like how oblique, critical shot and split arrow), very likely that I would max this skill. Best spammable aoe in archer tree imho.

Disclaimer: Just based on my experience on fletcher crossfire, and I have not run a spr flet mergen obviously.

i made that thought: cross fire lvl 15 is 2k base dmg. split arrow is just 630 but we can see do 30-40k dmg. (crit with red dmg)

base rank 8 dmg is around 5k exaple for arrow sprinkle, that is quick and multi target dmg is 3700 at lv5. almost all low rank skill scale bad for the high hp of monsters. but with 2k base + all the stuff and always crit can’t make the deal? even a average of 40k x hit would be great vs 400k hp monster.

yep i’m the first noticed that while play but was using the gamepad. even if you still root with mouse you can have really better position and efficency.

with gamepad i was not able to target the target i want to hit as many possible. also much random positioning and root. but with mouse under with aspect is much better. same for MA and MS.

i’m thinking much about this because i will pick fletcher only if can be viable. or i will prefer something like: a2r3ro1falc mergen AoE is all :frowning:

edit: i have used stat reset potion from IMC on lvl 200 fletcher c2.

used 1:1 dex spr. spr is a bit too high i can spamm any fletcher skill endlessly without run out of mana and when crit dmg is good.

but SPR is good crossfire don’t. i give up on fletcher and forgot about that skill.

the thing is that spr is bad on an archer. also crossfire has a REALLY slow animation and much harder to aim than split arrow, this is why people don’t like it
the farming speed on crossfire is not as good as split arrow. and again, spr is bad especially with the SP generation boss cards.

don’t take this thread seriously, its just Seifer, the largest pile of human waste we have on the forums, he was recently banned so this is just his latest alias, it took me all of 2 sentences to notice

Tbh, you need to calm down. being so toxic will only make you look bad which results in other people not taking you seriously regardless of what you have done.

Also, instead if scoffing at what others say, prove them wrong. If you weren’t successful, try again. If they won’t listen, then either refine your argument, actually take into consideration of what they are saying, or give up.


Atm, you sound like you think you own this place or that you are a “higher being” because you’re “better off” than most people in the game.

In which case, I can see why people don’t really like to listen to you.

If you want to look at it as white knighting then so be it. I don’t care.

All i was doing is stating how you are only making yourself look worse by also playing the game of bash on the other person.

Be the mature person and simply ignore him or help him.


I haven’t been reading the drama of fhe forums. I usually skip over them, so I don’t really know what anyone has been doing. Regardless, If that is all it took to make you dislike someone… lol. Okay.

It’s the internet, it’s not like they are actually going to come to you irl and do something. It’s fine to get mad, but holding a grudge over it is a little too much.

Isn’t there some kind of thing on the net where everyone is supposed to not care about what the other person says because it’s online? Oh well.

The nicola thing, well, I can’t say anything about it but that it looks like someone trying to get the attention of others. Like a “senpai please notice me” kind of thing.


I suppose I see things differently. Oh well.

not sure about @jchsc32 but you cannot ignore the fact that seifer is very annoying
every threads he open he is asking people advice and then arguing with them for some weird reason, its really frustrating to help him, even if you try really hard, he’s just gonna go off and tell you that “you are wrong and his idea is better” making you wonder why he even asked for help.
Trying to be objective but some of what he says is true.

Tbh, I find him arguing back to be the better idea, because it shows that he has some kind of idea he wants even if he is wrong. Or that he really cares, and probably wants reasons why and the entire picture instead of blindly following others around.

It just means I have to either prove him wrong or rephrase what I said to make my point across.
