Ok let’s say considering the crit resist of mobs and bosses what number of crit rate will do almost 80% all the time
640-ish
80 x 280 = 22400
22400/42 = 533.3.
Highest crit resist IIRC is ~120
So 654 Crit rate will 80% crit rate, and higher on enemies with lower crit resist.

The formula is believed to be (crit rate - crit defense) * 42 / player level.
Delcas has it right for level 280.
Can you meet that 640 ish with gears or full dex?
Sissel bracelets, some high end leather equips and high lvl green gems. Yes you need high/full dex.
You can hit it with da dex build heavy yah I’m 50 str 50 con rest dex atm and with swift step im at like 700-800 crit always criting on world bosses
There’s enough sources of buffs\debuffs in this game that you could potentially hit 100 crit rate with 0 investment into DEX.
