Could need some insight from experienced players after being confused by so many Guide´s

Well im still thinking about what kind of build i should really go for :open_mouth: . I thought about a build which focuses on doing well on bossdps but also in groups and Endgame content like your so called ET. Im just gettin started in this Game and im confused now if it is really the right choice or if i should follow the Standard Build´s like Fletcher3 or iDreamy´s Scout 3 which sound pretty nice too!

The Build i thought about which would turn out nice may be:
Archer > Ranger >Archer > Archer > Rouge > Rouge > Canno.

The playstyle would be like the Shotgun build i found in this Forum in a Archer Build Collection Thread but i changed the Ranger 3 to Archer 3 for a few Reasons like more EVA and Crit from the SS and Barrage in endgame doesnt get much out of the 10 more skillpoints in it (There are more things to point out but i think you guys know the classes better then i do). Hope you can give me a few ideas and hints about my plan im currently only at A1 R1 :stuck_out_tongue: .

Then the next point which is really confusing for me is STATS :dizzy_face: :

Statwise its really hard to say cause i red so many builds and everyone tells something different. For my Build i think going like full DEX or high DEX would be nonsense cause i already have SS and Sneak Hit. So that left me with Full STR or something like 4:1,3:1 or 2:1 STR:DEX but some say you should go and get some CON and SPR for decend HP and SP pool (way more :dizzy: now then before).

So it would be a really great help if you can give me some Points which Ratio on Stats you would suggest for this kind of Build i plan to use.

I really appreciate every Comment and help you can give me as a new Player who loves playing Archer in almost any MMO :smiley:

I read somewhere, since youre going rogue, no need for archer c2 or c3.

For stats, I think you still need some bit of DEX to hit, or you can get accuracy from items. Of course you will need CON, I think thats needed for every build. SPR, i dont think much of it, i usually just drink an sp potion. So for me, when i hit my ideal DEX and CON, its full STR all the way since i wont be relying on evasion

Till now I’ve followed a guide that said 4:2:1 str:dex:con

At this moment my archer is around 106 and really lacking HP and SP for dungeons and bosses. HP might not be my main problem. SP is worse because I need to spam skills in order to do any damage in dungeons.

So right now my SP potions can’t keep up with me.

Most common for CON is 50~80 statted CON.

Archer DEX soft cap is around 100~140 w/o Sneak hit. You can go full STR with Sneak hit + Swift step and be okay for like 95% of the time.

But, if you want a build for Boss dps or ET, then your going to have to need Falconer with your build (for ET) and something else for World bossing. More than likely, you aren’t going to be facing the back of monsters in ET… World Bossing, your competing with F3’s massive dps from magic arrow… :confused: There is almost nothing that comes close to that dps on the Archer tree. They’re meta for a reason.

Rogue C2 and C3 aren’t generally liked since our backstab is a lot weaker than ktos as well as because C2/3 doesn’t bring much to the table. I would actually get rid of Rogue C2 in favor of Falconer, because Circling is just that good. It makes Multishot aoe and gives you easier aoe as a cannoner

Ive been only playing archer since CBT. Ive tried everything except reiter.
to tell you the truth. High Str is really recommended or no dex at all if you are going rouge. considering you’ll have high uptime of sneak hit and crit rate using gems and equipment is easy to achieve. ive seen Idreamy in my party once in Evac grounds. a dungeon where monster hp is around 100k. The feint barrage combo is legit as a 3k/hit will lead to almost 100k damage in an instant and with regards to cooldown. it is short enough to do it on every monster pull.

His guide is legit, I agree to it. although when it comes to pure single target dps nothing beats fletcher 3 and the double flare combo takes too long so once boss monster starts moving ull have to wait for longer cooldowns.

As for your build archer 3 is so-so you get extra evasion which is good if you’re playing a high dex build but no matter how high your evasion is archer mobs/magic will always hit u when ur in the latter part of the game.

I think your build is okay. the only downside to it is that you’ll have 3 sets of weapons 1 2 hand bow, 1 xbow and a dagger (most likely will end up to karacha set) and an xbow and cannon.

canoneers have fast cd but the skills doesn’t hit everything in range due to aoe skill ratio. A falconer instead of rouge 2 will be good as circling not only aid your skills but allies like elementalist etc as well.

here are my suggestions:
A>ranger>sapper2>rouge>falconer>canoneer
Combo 2ble broom trap. circling cannon skills, and the feint barrage

Archer>ranger>archer>scout/acher>rouge3
high lvl of backstab burrow and spam multishots and barrage feint and twin arrows.

Idreamy build which is pure pve.
Don’t focus on earth tower. KTOS has different patch to us that is why they take it easier than most of us.

for the stats. trade the stat you loss with equipments. for example high dex u take a vubbe fighter glove for extra str. or for going high str u compensate ur lack of evasion stat and accuracy using high lvl white equips.

I am actually doing your first suggested build: (A R Sap2 Ro Falc Can). I am currently going for Str Dex = 2:1. I am wondering if I should stop when my dex is around 130ish, or do you think I should increase more, considering that Dex is more useful for canonneer skills?

you should stop. as I mentioned crit is a very easy stat to gain. with equipments like sissel bracelet, mana mana green gems. unless you want high evasion XD but since ur taking rouge u have sneak hit. lets just say that you wont be hitting monsters most of the time at their back :slight_smile: I think the dex u had add crit stats to it from gems etc. will be sufficient. besides. str is much viable. u still get crit damage and high physical attack. and high lvl monsters has high lvl of crit resist. @_@
