Costume issue between Male and female

Hello,

Noticed from Peltasta class, I’m just wondering why Mâle costume looks ‘normal’/‘practical’, when female one looks ‘unnatural’/‘panty fan’ ?

Just take a look here :

Am I the only one disrupted by seeing panty from my character ? Why not making the Female skirt as long as the Mâle skirt or at least add some short under the Female skirt instead of this whyte panty ?

I’m not saying we have to Hide panty everywhere, but having the option to have Female characters with ‘normal’/‘practical’ costume as the mâle characters seem fair : do you imagine the impact on a valkyrie’s charism if you see her f****** white panty instead of an armored skirt and nothing else ?

What do you think about it ?

On my side I’m not able to use those cool costumes from class I picked and it’s a bit frustrating, I have also no other way to obtain other costumes following my style and IMC doesn’t seem to allow us to have more option for the moment and even less if we speak about ‘practical’/‘fight oriented’ costume for female :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah wtf. We should have things fair. Shorten the male skirt so we can see dem buns

Edit: It bugs me a bit too. Some outfits are so cute but constantly flash panties in your face. I don’t think it is worth changing and the outfits are still cute. Plus there are some who like it so let them like it lol

Someone call the National Guard, this guy saw a pixelized low resolution panty shot on a sprite character. We’re going to need a holy bible, a burka, and a safe space, STAT!

I was wondering how long it would be before the Digital Virtue Defense Force arrived. This is a game from the Asian market, which has all of the stylized and unique traits of Asian-themed games, one of the most prominent of which is fanservice, which is used to help you attach to your characters.

The only reason that anyone would be bothered by this, is if they find something inherently bothersome about sex in general, or about the female form. Both of those things are positive, empowering topics, and this neo-puritanical movement attempting to stymie anything with sex appeal needs to die where it stands.

IMC, can I counter this by requesting more options for revealing outfits? A bikini set would be a nice start.

No but some people make these characters their own. They are special to them so it bugs them that some outfits show off their bums to everyone.
There are many reasons for people to be bugged by it. Don’t kid yourself with the “bugged by woman’s form” bullshit lol. That’s not the case for most.

Hey, just in case : I’m not against showing the panty from female characters.

I just regret to be forced to see it when my character is supposed to be more like a serious deadly valkyrie than a ’ kawai fighting little girl’ or ‘sexy bikini warrior’

Because sadly, fanservice is popular, even more so in asian games.

I’m sure some of the other classes’ costumes/the premium costumes hide the butt better.

No. I suggest to shorten the male chars’ skirt so that we can see their pantsu as well.

And also, change those cleric classes to mini skirt please.

I get what OP is saying. I’m a woman, I love sex, not only with men but women too! ;D And I really don’t mind pantie shots. However, not everyone wants their character to look sexualized. Pantie shots are sexualized. That’s why they are there and that’s why it’s called fan service. As far as appreciating a woman’s form goes, there are many ways to do that, which aren’t objectifying.

A few more options wouldn’t hurt anyone and would just be good for business. This is an Eastern created game but they are catering to a lot of Westerners and other cultures in general.

I think everyone is really missing the point. Most people playing are male, prolly 80%+. Why would they change something to not bring in a larger male audience. Sex sells and I enjoy the view. If your not used to a mostly male dominated game why are you here? Just to cause problems for the 80%+ enjoying it?

The character sprites in this game IMHO are the opposite of sexy to the point where panty shots in this game fall under the “fan disservice”, IMHO. I mean, that screenshot in the OP doesn’t look sexy at all and instead looks absolutely hideous in my opinion.
