Corsairs new Pillaging Attribute: Attributes scaling with Circle

As most people know, Pillaging was recently moved from being Jolly Roger-exclusive to being a Class attribute. The thing that makes this attribute special is that it actually scales its effect off your Corsair Circle, so if you have more Circles of Corsair, the effect increases.

This was a good move from the developers,
and one of the things I want to see becoming more common.

If it’s costly and time-consuming to create more and more attributes,
why not make more of them scaling with your Class Circle rather than having to take xyz into consideration when creating new ones?
Circling many Classes beyond C1/C2 is currently “not adviseable”, and many attributes are just for Class Circle 1.

In general, the amount of attributes decreases harshly from Circle 1 onwards, while the proficiency in the Class should rise by circling it up, shouldn’t it?
A good way to do this would be by enhancing attributes by Class Circles and reduce the negative effects on stats/skills with each Class Circle beyond 1.

I also think that new attributes should be unlocked at c2 and c3.
Many classes only have c1 attributes, they’re great in their own little way. But then you’re only left with skills levels and new skills to entice you into taking the next circle. There’s not much benefit in many cases in taking a skill to lv 15, there are those that benefit in doing so and they often involve duration being extended along some other beneficial bonus, but those skills that only get damage, sure you’d level them up but those levels don’t have much of a perceivable impact.

If say, at circle 2 and circle 3 your basic skills were to get attributes to expand on their behaviour like a wider AoE zone, an added debuff, something to make the advancement through the circles of the same class more rewarding it would be awesome. This would add some detrimental value to current existing builds, as it would be game changer. But it would also open new gameplay options ontop of the existing ones.
