Since Corsair’s Jolly Roger was completely changed, do people who put 15 points into and now have a wasted 15 points get a reset to reallocate these points? Since IMC, I assume no. But just wanted to check.
You already know the answer. Lots of things got changed and points into some skills felt like a waste and they never gave any skill resets.
At least overall, the change was actually a buff to Corsair. And you could actually get a reset from the leveling event
But I have other characters I’d rather use that skill reset on.
All your chars can get a skill reset potion if they are not above level 321. Are we playing the same game? Check out the event
Keep JR 15, corsair is best archer support confirmed.

Pistol Shot damage support <
I dunno are we? So basically I can do the event multiple times to get multiple skill reset potions when I don’t want or shouldn’t need to do that? OR maybe IMC could give us a skill reset potion for completely changing a skill that ruins our build. Logic, how does it work?
Does the new attribute (ricochet) add much to pistol shot? I know pistol shot has been historically weak, but is it now useful w/ jolly roger and attribute?
I don’t have a corsair 3 but I know someone who has, let me ask them several showcases
The ricochet attribute makes the hit spread on monsters in a small radius near the hit target, having the attribute at lv10 (max) will make you deal 100% of your subweapon’s patk as damage on the targets affected by the splash damage, it’s almost the same damage as the standard hit but without its base damage. I also didn’t notice any limit of targets for the splash attack.
I wasn’t able to test Jolly Roger effectiveness because my friend has it at lv1 and that’s like…2% damage increase? It wasn’t any apparent.
I will record a video next time for better analysis.
For example, if you have two mobs the pistol shots bounce off each other by doubling the damage and so the more mobs put together more damage.
I have terrible equipments.
981-981 Secondary.
No Fever:
Fever:
Note: The lower damage is the ricochet.
Hmmm not bad. Do you think it’s viable to use and give up points in other skills?
If you feel like you don’t need to spend your points in something else, you can keep JR level 15.
The missile buff is actually really useful and applies to the whole party, thus increasing the clearing speed of your runs/grind.
According to the damage on the upper pictures, the damage seems to stick to the missile property and gets increased, so it is kinda worth it to keep.
Also, increasing JR’s level to 5/10/15 increases altogether your steal chance with the new attribute.
If you plan on getting a pistol for your corsair, then go for it.
If you plan to DWA all the way, dont use a pistol… it’s terrible.
^ Could someone please prove me wrong?
What’s so terrible about a pistol for DWA? Manamana seems to be one of the better items to use, since I assume you get the lightning damage applied to both hits. I assume no, but does the hits with the manamana count as missile attacks? Just thinking along the lines of using fever time or whatever w/ it.
It’s due to the animation, the pistol basic attack is freaking slow.
Makes sense, thanks for the input.
There isn’t much other skills to add in for me, so yes.
Archers would love you. Specifically SRs since everything is 10 seconds.
JR acts as a buff and debuff now. PD’s can incinerate from it.
You and the enemy has to be in the JR to get Fever going, but once you get Fever, you can leave the JR and maintain the buff.
Is this true? I don’t recall JR increasing chance to steal.
It seems the same to me, but I could be wrong.
JR makes DWA actually usable. Stamina drains really low for it.
Without JR, 10 seconds of DWA usage with 26 stamina.
With JR, 35 seconds of usage and only 2 stamina loss.
Damage is not great either way.
Yes to both.
Do remember that it’s lightning and decreases with both lightning and earth enemies.
So what I gather is that manamana theoretically is the better offhand, but due to slow animation it it’s not the best.
Also JR still has it’s uses. I’m going to keep it at 15 for now then, and avoid pistol shot all together.
