ger if you plan to DWA solely…you can always swap if you want to go caster ‘hybrid’.
I for example want to do dagger only with my Hop3 Cor3, so I will skip pistol shot entirely :P. Why? Because I love to suffer and get cucked.
You mean rank 8 won’t save my build!? I’m currently Corsair 3 and going Doppel 1 for rank 8… funny right? It’s a pure farming build, that won’t be able to use DPE effectively because it kills things too slowly…

They changed it. Now you have the same pillage chance of old JR 5/10/15 depending on which corsair class level have you got (C1/C2/C3), but:
The only (big) downside is that entering dungeons/mission using queues makes the party leader RNG, so 95% of times you won’t be able to get pillage buff.

If you only want the pillage buff, you don’t need to invest into JR anymore.
Yes, the point of JR is the missile buff, which is great for team play, or, if you get Shinobi, you might be able to trigger it on your own although it’s not easy due to the short duration of the flag.
It all depends on your preference and build.
JR make possible the autoatack build of corsair. DWA dont consume stam under the efect of JR and now looks nice to combine with multi hit mechanichs and blood dagger.
the only fail is that shark cuter are useless and need be fixed.
I honestly can’t recommend corsair 3, there are better builds out there.
that pistol thing looks cool too bad corsair isn’t a mounted class

Thankfully I haven’t gone r8 yet on it. Not that it matters though.
