lol what weapon swap you mostly need Murmillo for Frenzied Slash. this is offhand dagger build, and those skills you need do work with dagger.
corsair without an option to move while hooking is a bad corsair <=> hop2-cor2 cant jump with dagger
and you can even add Highlander c1 to have even more mobility.
PS. I’m gonna stick around at forums. will take a look when they implement next step of optimization + rank 8 both.
Taking a R8 class just for a gap closer? Gap closing with Cartar? Those are not optimal choices, IMO.
imc basically made corsair c3 not an optimal choice.
That’s why I said “Corsair post c1 is meaningless for pvp anyways except for hook”. It became a mat farming class.

Any news about this build with the rank 8 class? Is it still working on PVP? And did you get any rank 8 class?
Corsair c3 is still strong due to Iron Hook duration. You won’t do much damage wise.
EDIT: for hopsair, shinobi is the most common build I see.
I hope someday they make Double weapon assault to be used on only 1 key unlike pressing 2 keys alternately because its a little bit hassle and a tendency to fail due to many reasons and fps drop. Example make it passive and when you press only ‘Z’ it will work but still it will consume stamina and make a toggle skill if you want to activate the double weapon assault or not.
Also I hope they change the logic of Iron hook that when you caught only 1 monster/player you can activate keel hauling and when more that one keel hauling is not activated instead of toggling iron hook chain it is also a little bit of hassle.
