Connection Timed Out - Unable to download ToS in Steam

Bug Description :
I decided to do a fresh install of my ToS client because of a recent increase in VGA errors. I deleted my client (via Steam’s uninstall command) and attempted to re-download ToS. It never starts.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Uninstall ToS (via Steam)
  2. Initiate install of ToS (via Steam)
  3. Connection Timed Out error.
  4. Download won’t even start (filed a ticket as well).

@GM_Francis, yep saw it. Sad thing is, it’s just steps I’ve already taken. Available disk space is more than 100GB, I can stream Netflix at Ultra HD with no issues (as a test of speed and stability).

General internet use is fast and snappy.

I believe this is similar to my previous issue

it automatically got fixed the next day

Luckily I had a pristine (un-patched) copy of ToS in one of my portable HDDs. It worked after that. :stuck_out_tongue:
