CON should add to your Physical DEF

I felt like CON didn’t do enough to make you feel “tankier”. All it seemed to do is give slightly more HP and I didn’t really notice the regen. Did anyone else feel like it was worthwild to stat into CON in the beta?

The game still has the same problem it apeared to have in KrCBT2, the stats don’t feel rewarding enough, and to be honest, I felt most of my character’s damage and defence just came from levels. And the stats felt pretty superficial.

Frankly, the most distinguishing feature for a tank was in my view the plate armor mastery stat, and not con.

But I think that might be as intended, to give more credence to the healing classes. I still remember quite clearly that I was very self sustained as a knight in Ragnarok Online, because not only could I wear items with higher armor mitigation, the vit def also reduced attacks further, and the swordy passive health regen stat made wait times inbetween fights much smaller. Factor to that the increased potency of potions for when I DID get in a pinch, and the increased carry capacity for said potions due to strength, and I really seldomly had to party up while grinding to higher levels.

That said, the reason con gives no armor might be that unlike Ragnarok Online, equipment is easier to upgrade, there are more gems than there had been cards, and items don’t have a relatively static DEF rating. (After all, you rarely got items that went into the 10 DEF range for armor, even with cards, so you needed something for tanky classes to scale with the levels, whereas items in Tree of Savior are now scaling with levels more and giving better armor rating every few levels)

My wizard uses plate armour with the plate armor stat, that’s not even really a tank thing.

Plate mastery adds HP and def as well.
Would you rather want the def from that mastery removed and instead let the that def come from CON?

I felt like Con was not worth investing into as a damage class since I could just go with the Plate Mastery or even better just rely on Evasion.
Durability seems to get lost per hit count so when I keep getting hit by a lot of mobs, my armor needs repair soon after. When I dodge, I avoid getting hit and hence avoid losing dura.

I’m not sure if CON would be worthwhile for a tankier class.
Every 1 CON you get: +34 HP, +1 Crit-Res, +1 HP-Regen, +5 Carry Weight
Every 5 CON, you get 1 CON gratis.

The only other stat-option for defensive stats is SPR, I guess?
Every 2, then 3, then 4, then 5 and so on points into SPR, you get 1 Mdef.
So there are diminishing returns if you want to stack Mdef.

I hope those loose cannons in the IMC Dev department know what the hell they are doing! =P
