Compensation for exploiters?

Do you know it don’t make sense?
It feels like a climbing on the mirrors…
(not you, for what IMC is thinking)

Low value or not, still no sense.
I’m in favour of of temp bans, and potentially permanent ones based on what evidence IMC has access to, but I guess I agree with you on item removal/DPK change if that is what you’re saying, especially since I’m a vocal advocate for drop system reform.
Yeah, I want removal/DPK changes.
I’m fighting with change DPK since they implemented it!

That’s why I said this is too much.

If they would have gotten the item from farming enough, then it does make sense that they should keep it. They worked for it.

My main point in this whole discussion is tempering the outrage when there are aspects that weren’t considered. I don’t fully agree with IMC’s actions on the compensations given, but the idea behind them made perfect sense, and was the best they could do given short term notice. I see a lot of emotion and jealousy opposed to objectivity (not from you), we disagree less then we think. Overall, I support IMC’s corrective actions, even if I disagree with the specifics.

Hello~ Just to clarify:

We do understand how this may seem unfair to the players who intentionally avoided the DPK irregular areas, however we cannot assume that all the users who were caught with these items did so with the intention to exploit. Automatically acquiring these items by being in the area cannot be deemed as “exploiting.” This is why we have divided our investigation into categories in order to investigate the users who may have used or traded the items. Once our investigation is concluded we will know the extent of these users actions and we will enforce the proper punishment.

Due to an issue on our side, not the players, we locked accounts which prevented many of our Saviors from enjoying ToS over the weekend as we conducted our investigation. They were unable to participate in daily events, guild runs, and other activities and for these reasons, as a form of apology, we wanted to properly compensate these users who couldn’t play simply because they had the items in their possession.

I would like to stress that since we could not and cannot guess the intentions of these users we would rather apologize for something that was a mistake on our end and not theirs.

Did the mystical cubes from banned accounts expire? For example, if some players have 10 alts to roll practonium every day, while the ban lasts days, are all the 10 practoniums lost?

I’m sorry but no.

It’s not like fair or unfair.
It’s like you have given too much.
Really? Enchant Scrolls, Multiply Token, Token 30d and Leticia Cube when they only can’t login for 4 days?
A LOT OF THEM.
Maybe, and maybe, I can understand few of them, but not a lot!
Reset scrolls (a lot of them) were good enough.
And really? 2 Token 30d for have lost only 4 days?

Absolutely no.

“Nice, next time i will be sure to exploit as well, i just dont need to trade the items, right? Because i know that the staff will compensate me for my ‘boo boos’.” Thats what a friend of mine said when he saw that.
You are not compensating anyone, you are just encouraging people to participate the next time something like this happen. Your team should have thought more about this before doing that compensation givaway, mark my words, the next time something like this happen it will be chaos, its not just something that ‘someone in the internet said’, its raging on the shouts of you own game.
Bad decisions like this are only ruining the company credibility, and its not the first bad decision you guys have made so far.

It’s ok. I learnt a very valuable lesson. I didn’t abuse the token incident when the game started, the duping of items, crashing channels, hook, botting, weeds, dpk issues and probably others I’m forgetting. But on the next issue, which with you guys will be soon, I will abuse the ■■■■ out of it, errr sorry, I will continue to play the game normally and wait for my wonderful compensation. That’s the message you sent. And you’re right. You don’t know what people are thinking. But you simply should have shut down the servers and done a proper removal and then award everyone the same compensation for not playing during the duration.

Thanks Leticia,

I was one of the exploiters I was waiting for market prices to rise again after the fix of the DPK bug so I could make higher profit before selling my DPK items. Thanks for gifting me all those goodies though, I don’t know why I deserve them (:

Sorry for all those people who sold their DPK items early and didn’t get ‘compensated’. I know how it feels.

Sincerely,
An ‘exploiter’

OT: seriously you guys at IMC are so retarded. It’s not about the compensation, its about the message you sent to the playerbase.

a lot of people still have the buged dpk itens and had a bonus with the huge pack of itens…

since i didnt log in that time i still have to hear, “did you open your leticias cube yet?” no, because i didnt log in that time.

my friends dont call it a bug anymore, they refer to it as an event

Guys, I’m not a White Knight, as you see I’m “fighting” with IMC decisions.
But I want to clarify this:
The problem was Server side, I mean, was inevitable that players will exploit.

IMC can’t do nothing against this.
So they took the “right” decision to do restrict login.
But on what they have absolutely wrong was on compensation: too much.
Instead of give 2 30d Token I can understand a 7d one (they have lost 4 days of playing and I think 7d one should be perfect).
Instead of give Multiply Token (a lot of them) I can understand 2 of them.
Instead of give Enchant Scroll (a lot of them) I can understand 5 of them.
Instead of give Leticia Cube I can understand nothing.

I’m sorry if they couldn’t open their Mystical Cube. But, since they have still HG items, is a good this decision.

(I’m opening Mystical Cube since January and still no Practo  )

Yes it’s true you cannot assume that the users who experienced the bug did it intentionally, but that is also true the other way around. You can’t assume anyone’s intentions. Instead you lump them all together and give them these excessive compensation. Many got away with it despite your investigations.

I get that they lost daily runs and so on. So then why not give all users the same compensation and give the temporarily blocked users additional reset vouchers/multipliers by X amount of time they were blocked for? Instead you overcompensate them with over 370 TP worth of premium items in fear of losing players.

Well, you’re going to lose players either way. Now you just set up a future example of what to do when bugs like this happen. There’s no reason in purposely avoiding them.

Hope you guys are ready for the extra work. Judging by this latest temporary maintenance, there’s going to be a lot more to come. Can’t wait to take advantage of the next one.

Remember kids: Stay in drugs, dont do school.

You missed out so many TP compensation and cheap 300k token :grinning:

If anything the ones who were temp banned for exploiting shouldn’t have gotten any sort of compensation as a punishment for them exploiting a bug. I also feel that everyone should be given that same compensation, because id gladly get temp banned for a few days for like 25 US dollars worth of free stuff. They need to give this to everyone.

Good game for those who keep playing!!

What a failure of this company!

Come to Brazil IMC!!! And pray for “Lava-Jato” (Operation Car Wash) dont get you.

There are even stores called “IDENTIFY YOUR BUG ITEM”

Aaaaand as usual IMC doesnt give a sht about us anyway.
