Compensation for exploiters?

People exploit the game and get compensate for doing it? What kind of joke is that?

30 days Token, 11 Secret Cube, 20 Enchant Scrolls and a huge load of Multiply Tokens, Instanced Entries and Extra Token Time, and all you needed to get it is to EXPLOIT the game.
And the criteria to get all this ‘amazing and super fair’ compensations is just not comercialize the items until the staff notice the problem, just like any smart person would do.

They knew what they were doing, its not worth a praise be able to not trade the bugged items for a couple of days and these people should not be “Compensated”.
I, as someone that CHOSE NOT to participete in the “HG DPK Fest”, feel disgusted by the decision of the staff to “Premiate” the people that EXPLOITED the game mechanics and merely waited a couple of days without loging in. It’s ridiculous to the point that i wish that i have participated in this like everyone else.

I feel DISGUSTED about this.

I THINK I SPEAK AS FOR EVERYBODY ELSE WHO DIDNT SHAMELESSLY EXPLOITED THE GAME IN THIS SENTENCE:
“WE DEMAND THE SAME COMPENSATION AS THEM.”
“WE DEMAND THE SAME COMPENSATION AS THEM.”
“WE DEMAND THE SAME COMPENSATION AS THEM.”…

depending on the seriousness of the abuse these accounts will be permanently banned.

You have an odd definition of compensating exploiters.

No, he did precise “And the criteria to get all this ‘amazing and super fair’ compensations is just not comercialize the items until the staff notice the problem, just like any smart person would do.” which is true.
The ones who are banned are the ones who farmed a lot of items AND sold them afterwards.
But the ones who farmed a lot of them without selling them won’t get punished and will get the compensation. I’m sure some of them thought “Don’t care, I need to grind, I’ll keep doing it bug or not” but I know (like I personally know some) some of them did it with in mind the idea of “enjoying” this bug. The only difference is that they didn’t resell/use their items right away so they won’t get banned.
In such a chaotic issue IMC cannot be sure who is innocent and who isn’t, so giving a big-ish compensation (rather than compensating mostly the lost time) isn’t the smartest/fairest thing to do, it makes sense people feel betrayed by them.

Thanks for understanding.

Oh, would you look at that, the post got flagged.
There must be people who are afraid of an opinion i presume.

I wouldn’t mind getting my account blocked up to a month if I can get free tokens, enchant scrolls and a letica cube in return. Lol.

I will just go play overwatch for more anniversary lootboxes and work on my backlog of games on steam like witcher 3 and tales of zestiria.

No seriously, IMC please block me and give me those “compensation”… Thanks.

You don’t get it. The “light” exploiters, those who farmed but did not trade them, got heavily compensated. Those who did nothing got nothing, literally.

Look at the compensation these “light” exploiters got, 30 day token, enchant scroll, one 10+1 p2w cube and enough boosts to make another 330 character. In exchange for getting restricted a couple of days. You think this is fair? I don’t mind “taking a break” for these goodies too.

I was purposely being tongue in cheek for the same reason the post got flagged.

Still though, @flyotherside misrepresented the situation and given the fact that a majority of those affected were innocent, compensation makes sense. I would have altered the compensation a bit, diversifying it more, lessening the multiplier and the overall Token time, but the general reasoning is sound. Compensating innocent players is more important than catching the smaller amount of exploiters that will make it through, especially given the fact IMC is pursuing those who are confirmed to have exploited. You can’t classify the 1600 players as “light exploiters” when the drop system itself was bugged, that affects everyone.

Dont misunderstand me, you did not get my point, Im not ‘pointing the finger’ to those who exploited the bug, in this topic im complaining ABOUT IMC choice to absurdly “Compensating” people for no justificated motive, the only thing those who got the account held deserve are the time their account were locked up in Token Time, as they could get the same “Level Up Kit” as everyone else, Its more than enough for a Pseudo-Exploiter. Giving them this ‘Jumpo Jackpot’ is ridiculous.

The compensation has to apply to every player affected, who are in a variety of different situations, different stages of the game, different schedules. That’s why the compensation includes items like Leticia Cubes, enchant scrolls, and Token extensions, because IMC can’t make up for lost guild raids, Mystical Cube roles, scheduling with friends, and any other reason that could affect a player. Those rewards on top of the others, for not being able to play for multiple days begin to make more sense when you view the perspective from other players in differing circumstances. IMC has to appeal to everyone affected in the best way they can. I agree that the compensation could use altering, but just saying that IMC is compensating exploiters is disingenuous.

Sorry, but i dont agree with you, i hope you understand.
I still think the compensation is absurd and the only way to “fix” is giving everyone else the same. And yes, i envy them, im sure there are alot of people who feel envious too.

I agree.
The compensation should be sent to every player, not just the ones that exploited the bug.

That’s fine that you disagree, but I felt your post was unfair.

I do want to understand your justification for giving everyone the same reward. Players who are locked out from playing, while being innocent, deserve more to make up for the time lost, if all players were given the same, then the players who weren’t under investigation would be at a disadvantage. IMC is equalizing the problem (or attempting to), what you propose is unbalanced.

Its sad how the staff dont/cant speak with us in delicate topics like those. Most because they cant express their opinion since they could be misinterpreted by other people, ‘Staff’ title is kinda heavy. I would be happy if any of them said something about this topic thought…
Something like: “We will take your opinion into consideration” or “We heard you” Would make my day.

Not a single person is gonne think twice about abusing the next bug that comes along, good job IMC…

Ppl who did got their inventory full of rare drops and those who didn’t had the same opportunity to do.
Those who did drop a lot of ■■■■ got blocked for a while, even if they didn’t trade the items.
On the other side those who decided to not drop purple boxes and battle bracelets did not got blocked.

But look,
I could have dropped everything that ppl did.
I was online, lvl my chars in dungeons, and I was aware of the bug.

Why those who preferred to drop (giving IMC problems to clean up the mess, and getting blocked)
deserve more than me?

Actually, I think its just the opposite.
Or do you think that I don’t go HG for farming too?

I think only 2 groups deserve compensation, the people who reported this bug and the others who were wrongly punished with accumulated boxes and didnt play in the period of bug. This is fair i think.!!!

Man …Another one?
Enough is enough
