steam changes prices for every country, if they dont do that, we would just download pirate copy of games (and WE i really mean EVERYBODY xD)
right now 50$ would be like 190 here, but in steam it would be 110 or less.

this way if the sub is 10$ (20-25 here) we can afford it without big problems, but if its 20$ (45-50) its a lot harder to ppl to buy it.

and thats the BIG reason why i’m not playing anything out of steam xD.
exept blizzard stuff, blizzard do that too

When you publish a software in Steam, they recommend some prices for different regions, based on many factors. It’s not a simple conversion between currencies.
IMC said they will follow this standard, which means the BR store will sell it for a lower price compared to the US.
