I had the same problem and after restarting several times I can’t even log in anymore.
After I click on the server and press enter it says connecting to the server but nothing happens.
it gives no error either.

Its the server lag, they can’t keep up. Press join, and wait till character selection. Wait againa after error. Make a new character while you are at it. But wait for 5-10 minutes and see if something changes.

I changed channel then it went back to the barracks instead.
And now I can’t get back in. I need help please.

same problem

after finish boss fight and the npc bugged (like invisible) so i decided to log-out and re-login then this happened.

update:

I am now stuck in the server screen

Whenever I click Start it will not promt me to the character selection but will just do nothing

Yeah, I just had it aswell. Probably because of the constant disconnects lately.

TEMP SOLUTION:
Exit steam and try again. this fixes the error for me. I think doing that seems to force the character to be booted from the server so you can log back in.
