Cloth armor for high dex archer?

As everyone knows, magic users are the most hated enemy of every archer.

And i heard that there where some swordmen that go for cloth armor instead of plate to help with the pesky little monsters, as the damage they don’t get from magic weigh up for the HP/Physical Defense they don’t get from plate.

Will the same work for a high dex archer?

My evade is allready high, so im rarely hitt by physical attacs anyway.
So in maps with alot of magic monsters, is it worth it to drop my leather armor and go for cloth?

nope
even if you want against magic attacks
just CON and plate equipments for hp bonus

Full plate or leather glove with the rest plate?
Or is it best to just stick to the plain old full leather?

the bonus hp of 3 or 4 part always the same, just different at physical defense reduction. You can use 3 plate part and wind runner or vubbe fighter 's glove

full leather only works against physical attack so i think you just asking about magic attacks

btw
talking about evasion you will need leather set to dodge in pvp since most of physical class up to DEX for pvp builds

As we just ruled out cloth armor for magic attack and leather don’t really do anything when it comes to magic damage, so I was thinking more in general terms.

Seems like leather glove and rest plate is a good bet as allround gear.

Not a fan of pvp.
