Cleric soloing bosses using this

Looks like he’s relying totally on Safety wall + Sadhu skills and just pulling back to wait until the cooldown resets

This also seems like one of the quest bosses x3

Safety Wall is pretty OP, number of blocks you get go up per level.

Yeah but the down time of the skills really makes me cringe (even if they’re doing a huge amount of damage)

Soloing story bosses isn’t exactly hard ._. Sadhus spirit gets pulled back instantly if they are hit; not using safety wall vs helgasercle would be a good way to die as sadhu.

Even if you build an Evasion Sadhu? o.o I thought that Evasion was a really good stat or does Helgasercle use magic?

Evasion is weird, some moves are magic yet can be dodged - some are physical yet count as magic.

On top of that you do this boss once, haven’t found any field boss version of it yet.

So far to “Quest bosses taking 15 minutes to kill” xD Damn i’m jealouse wish Wizards had a saftey wall too

If you’re severely underleveled (pretty much icbt in a nutshell) bosses will take 15 minutes sure, but on par level bosses are killable in anywhere from 1-5 mins depending on class.

This mainly has to do with the huge damage reduction mobs higher leveled than you get.

We have reflect shield, the lesser version of Safety Zone  Not sure if we even have higher DPS than that Sadhu who took all of the DPS skills possible for an INT Cleric lol.

A Barb player mentioned he took 10-15 minutes vs Quest bosses level 50+

Sure, I agree - but that’s no excuse for a boss who’s weak to slash to take over 10-15 minutes to kill solo (this number is NOT an exaggeration), especially when you run into Bosses on quest progression extremely often.[/quote]

This is why we have magic :imp: however, resistance to the magic elements makes this harder :frowning: I heard that eventually some mobs will absorb your damage and heal them? Gunna make some pure builds cry.

I’m not sure what to tell you, I leveled on par with the bosses level in cbt3 kr and the bosses were all extremely easy on every type of class I played (have one of each type 150~200). Being underleveled isn’t a problem outside the version everyone here played.

It’s probably a swordsman problem, they are affected by bosses defence most of all (level wise) since they rely mostly on autos. My friend who also rolled cata on kr had the same problem - hit like a noodle on many bosses vs total hp.

edit; yeah confirmed it with my friend - he hasn’t had any similiar problem with other classes, only swordsman.

Ya, I’m that Barb - this Sadhu is doing insane amount of damage in a short amount of time. It looks like 50k+ in total dmg in the rotation of 1 safety wall, maybe even more.

It should also be noted that the Boss difficulty jump happens around 30ish and tapers off around 100, the Bosses I was fighting in Mages tower took me a lot less time, now I don’t know if this is because the power gap shortens or if Mage tower bosses are just weaker in general.

Either way this guy’s damage is pretty impressive.

Ya it seems like this is the case, even when were dealing damage to a weakness Boss defenses + high HP pool make for long and grueling fights.

Well having a low SP pool could be considered an “exploit” as a psycho together with firewall and fireball you can burst down enemies even faster than this sadhu

But as i mentioned in your thread i am not sure if its wanted or unwanted that swordsman classes dealing far less dps on bosses than other classes?! Even more after the Barb nerf - heard the crit dmg buff adds just a 0.75 to the multiplier

Wait why psycho and pyro combo? I thought the Fire Ball + Psychic Pressure combo was removed. (even though Psychic Pressure is damn good for not having any attributes)

What a smart cleric to figure out such a nifty trick.

The x8 fireball stream thing has been put back in, on kr. Did it yesterday.

i just set firewall + fireball and spamed psychic pressure until the boss dies - i never get touched once - ill make a video next CBT - just make sure to have a super low max sp pool so never put points into spr i think pressure drains sp according to your max spr - and take the highest potion you can with you
