Cleric Dream Patch Notes

Hello Everyone! This Thread Was Inspired by the swordsman one and the one inside the cleric forum, so some of these patches may be taken from that thread. this consists of buffs and nerfs, and reworks/new skills. some of the ideas are taken from suggestion threads.


Cleric

Skills:

  • Deprotected Zone
  • Changed to Defense: - [ 2 ( + 1 per skill level) + (SPR + 3/4 INT) ] - x per stack

Attributes:

  • Heal: Constitution
    • heal will scale form CON (hp recovery) rather than INT (magic attack)

  • Guardian Saint:
  • skill has been changed, " Allies nearby will take 10% (+ 10% per level ) less damage, but you lose SP for each time they are hit based on how strong the hit was.

  • Aukuras
  • Aukuras now gives resistance to freeze debuff

NEW ATTRIBUTE

  • Aukuras: Catching Fire
  • enemies that get in Aukuras’ range will have a 5% chance per attibute level every second to catch on fire, dealing damage equal to 25% of magic damage per attrbute level every second and decreases fire property resistance by 20% per attribute level and .1% per attribute level every .5 seconds.

  • zombies now have a 8% chance to apply bleeding/poison

  • Zombie Capsule will summon 3 zombies rather than 1 (5 in TBL)
  • cooldwn reduced 26 > 15 (26>23 in TBL)

NEW Attribute Tet Mamak La: Unnatractive: Tet mamak la still needs a summoned zombie, but zombies wont pick it up, deal damage equal to 200% of magic attack and ticks faster, increases range of the aoe slightly

  • now also increases Crit Rate of zombies ( this effects bwa kayiman also) by 50 + 10 per level

NEW Summon Titan Zombie

  • Summon a Giant Zombie to fight with you, only 1 summoned at a time

NEW Weelchair Zombies

  • Summon Weelchair zombies to fight with you

NEW Archer Zombies

  • Summon Archer Zombies to fight with you (in game files), they shoot long ranged projectiles that have a large chance of applying a debuff, causing damage over time and making them convert into a zombie once dead.

Attribtue:

NEW Hexing: Feast:

  • hexing will have a 20% chance to turn the affected enemy into a chicken for 5 seconds, enemy will be silenced and zombies currntly attacking the enemy will deal increased damage and attack faster.

NEW * Carve Demon Queen Gesti

  • Carve Gesti, a purple aoe will appear ( like zemyma and laima, but purple) all all enemies will be attracted towards the center for a short duration, decreased AoE defence ratio, and will take DoT. allies in this are will have increased AoE damage

  • in PvP, Max Invulnerability Duration is 12 seconds, but provides CC immunity

  • OOB’s Damage will equal 350% of your magic attack, and will have a 20% chance to ignore 25% of the enemies magic defence

  • now is a channeling DPS skill that works like a combination of physicic pressure/possession/and hell breath, it deals damage and binds, allies near the enemies will have their INT increased, you will have your SP decreased by 5% (-.2% per skill level) every second, animation is unchanged 10 max targets

  • cooldown reduced 176 > 35

  • Turned into multihit skill > 5 hits, each hit has a chance of instantly killing demon/mutant types

NEW * ATTRIBUTE*

  • Smite: Stun Chance: Gives smite a 25% chance to stun the enemy for 5 seconds, stunned enemies will not be knocked back, nor wil ltake knockback damage.

  • Provides immunity to Knockdown/Knockback
  • Allies take 10% less damage from missile type attacks per ally in barrier. (does not work with more than 1 barrier)

NEW Divine Favor (stolen and tweaked from @BlueByu)

  • applies a sheild for 50% of YOUR health (if 50% of ur health is 10k, and someone has 7k health, a sheild will be added to them for 130% of their health) to you and your allies, which will take 50% of the damage for you, when the shield breaks, the ally/you will gain health = to 25% of YOUR max health, will be nerfed in PvP.
  • Conviction
  • Changed to C2

NEW**ATTRIBUTE Paladin: Goddess’ Sheild

  • Critical Attack will apply a sheild to you for 5% of your health that last 1 minute but can be stacked and refreshed, absorbs 5% (per stack) of damage and increase damage by 5% (per stack)

  • Golden Bell Sheild
  • Now Provides rapid SP and stamina regeneration to you and nearby allies, will over regen stamina, (meaning that it will overfill your stamina even if youre full)
  • cooldown reduced 3 minutes > 1 minute
  • While stamina is overfilled, Double Punch will deal increased damage and gain increased chance to apply debuff

  • Allies in the Forecast AoE area (ther area that appears when you are abbout to be hit) will gain a high chance to block the attack (works on bosses)
  • Resetting
  • when resetting, the chance for an item under 20% drop chance to appear is increased

  • Now changed to a Pbaoe skill
  • Cooldown Reduced 600 > 120
  • Debuff time reduced 60 > 15

  • Enemy will recover less HP and will recover HP slower.
  • Enemy will gain a debuff, making it unable to recover HP (other than twist of fate) for a few seconds
  • Enemy will gain a debuff, making it take more damage

  • When Transformed, your stats (other than CON) will raise depending on the monster shape shifted (exp. a physical monster will cause str and dex to go up)

NEW ATTRIBUTE Carnivory: Ignore: Carnivory has a 20% chance per tick to not consume a hit count.

  • While in area, enemies gain a debuff, making them consume only .5 of a hit count for all spells, rather than 1.
  • Lycanthropy
  • Damage skills scale off of magic attack rather than physical attack

  • Revenged Sevenhold
  • Will only apply for 5 hits max in pvp
  • Skills that do damage less than 7% of health will not proc revenged sevenhold, 10% on swordsman characters. ( enemy must do more dmg to swordsman for them to take x7 damage than other classes) TBL only
  • Auto attacks will not consume a hit
  • Duration fixed to 10 seconds + 1.5 per skill level in TBL
  • Ein Sof
  • (not sure if already changed but) every 4 skill levels will increase amount of circles by 1
  • Allies gain increased defense based on type of armor ( exp. leather armor will no longer take +50% dmg from slash, but will take -20% dmg)
  • Merkabah
  • Cooldown Reduced 45>25
  • Changed to Overheat, 2 charges
  • Reduced Animation
  • Damage increased 765 > 1300 base damage
  • Scaling increased 175 > 275
  • Enemies hit by Merkabah gain a debuff, making them take extra damage from holy property attacks

NEW * ATTRIBUTE*

  • Merkabah: Splash: when merkabah hits an enemy a firey splash comes out, damaging nearby enemies for 750% of magic attack, with a chance of burn debuff. will give hit enemies merkabah debuff.splash effect applies for each wheel
  • Reduce Level
  • Enemy will have stats reduced by 10 per skill level, allies will have stats increased by 10 per skill level

  • Double Chance
  • Hit count increased by 1 per skill level, 6 hits at level 5 + notarikon #
  • Changed to Party Buff
  • Cooldown reduced 42 >30
  • SP cost increased 102 > 280
  • Clones enemies have increased/decreased drop chances based on the drop chance. ( exp, a 80% dop chance woud be decreased to 50%, a 50% would chnge by 2%, a 49% would increase to 50%, a .2% would increase to 3%) aka. the close the drop chance is to 0, 50 or 100, the less change it will have, higher than 50% drop rate will decrease, lower than 50% will increase, 50% will change either way slighty.
  • Clones enemies drop double silver and give double exp

wtf only buff? when pvp all own by cleric and wizz??

My dream is cleric getting nerf equal to sub0

In terms of balance, IMO cleric is in a sweet spot (except for Sadhu) compared to other trees.

there was a nerf to diev carve austrine.

all of the other buffs were needed

and paladin, and monk

the other classes are either fine or OP

gonna update with more changes soon, but ive just chnaged up a few stuff right now, about to buff up golden bell shield some more

I dislike alot of these, actually. Aside Bokor (Zombie archers flinging spit everywhere actually sound kinda cool) and miscellaneous things here and there, I’m just not feeling any of these touch ups.

  • Dream or not, making Heal scale from Con is asking for a Nightmare, even to other Clerics.

heal scaling from con will be an attribute and will actually be weaker than it scaling from int.

usually you have like 200+ int and about 100 con so you will be healing half of you would with int.

the con part is for physical cleris that have 0 int and arent wanted in parties because their dmg isnt as good and they cant heal (similar to swordsman, cant tank or dps)

and the zombie archer will probabluy be added soon

Let me put it this way.

People hate Full Con Wizards because they’re annoying to kill, fat, and while having much lower damage they still contribute by multihits and higher base damage. The same exact thing would happen with Clerics if that would happen: You’d be giving them very high HP thresholds, high block, and the ability to heal themselves well because they have said high HP thresholds. It shouldn’t scale from it, at all. I’d even imagine a Cleric with Animus would be a pain in the ass.

Instead, if you’re worried about Physical classes (base damage heals are still pretty strong tbh), make a Heal attribute like:

Heal: Warmth Aura
Allows Heal to scale from STR.

Cleric does not = wizard

cleric doesnt scale badly with int, around 90% of clerics magic dmg skills are fast or multihit, meaning that 1 point in int may give around 15 damage on a cleric while only giving 1 point on a wizard (because they dont have alot of mutihit)

because of that

a cleric without int does not do good magic damage, my krivis-paladin has only 100 int right now and is level 190, zaibas 10 does not do good damage for me bcuz i have low int.

so going full con on a cleric with that attribute would only help your heals and your health, your damage would be terrible. animus is just another story though, but its rare and expensive so dont expect full cpn clereics 1 shotting things to be running around, and a full con cleric with anmus would be way different than the full con wizards with animus we have now

i like that attrbute idea, but i feel con would fit way better than str in a heal.

plus 40% hp rcovery of the magic amp, clerics probably wouldnt do as much damage from that as wizards because they scale better from int, and their base dmg is worse (whihc is why animus does better on wizards)

Different Capsules?: (maybe summon zrcher, weelchair, and giant?)

Capsule Skill (porbably replaced with zombie capsule item):

Bokor buffs

Zombify

Will now spawn 1 zombie every 3 second regardless whether an enemy dies inside the circle

Cleric will recieve a Zombify buff that indicates how many zombies are currently present

Bleeding enemies are imediately targeted by Zombies

Bwa Kayiman

Cooldown from 10 seconds -> 9 seconds

and pve too…
the only class that can solo stuf are clerics

other classes can solo things too, even swordsmen

no they cant… some wizzard builds can too. but the others need to pot every 30 secs and will die a lot
