Dex = +4 Critical Attack Per Point
+1 Block Penetration, +1 Evasion every 2 Points
+4 Block Pen, +4 Critical Attack, +4 Evasion Every 5 Points
+14 Crit ATK Every 10 Points
Donât go full SPR. Fanatic Illusion can be blocked and miss.
Here is the skill rotation I got from a Korean monk/zealot guide that I use:
If you intend to invest heavily in zealot monk I would still suggest full SPR, but I do agree full SPR without having the equipment/investment to get a decent amount of STR and DEX is worse off since STR and DEX still offers some nice stats.
With that said, I have not faced any problems with block and miss on my full SPR miko zealot that does not have STR and DEX, possibly due to fanatic illusion accuracy buff.
Mind linking the guide too? No one makes monk guides nowadays.
I skipped that fanatic illusion attribute. No sense making it cost even more sp, but i have the gear to get away with that.
True, I skipped it on my monk since I have enough STR to compensate, but on my other zealot I took the attribute since I have the SPR.
Why not use Blind Faith before Meltis to extend it âŚ
.?
The hit cap on Blind Faith will always result in the skill being cancelled before its duration is up, so no point in extending it with mels
You blow BF with just 2 Zaibas.
Oh ya⌠I forgot about the hit count.
im making a cleric>krivis3>monk3>zealot2
and you guys are confusing me xD
what stats should i go?
im seeing spr, then im seeing not spr, so far ive put my points in spr and im level 40, should i reset my char?
this is exactly the same rotation i use!
And yes, after testing some things last night, i am not ever going full SPR on krivis-monk-zealot build, it is not worth it. DEX is better, but I like my healthy mixture of STR and DEX
You could go either way actually.
(Speaking from a PvE perspective) I am insistent on full DEX even though I feel SPR is better even with equipment that gives me 100+ stats on STR and DEX because I can never go back to low DEX Double Punch (câmon, we are monk mains right?). I believe I am a monk main before I am a zealot main, therefore full DEX. Because of zealot, you simply benefit from going either way with STR, DEX and SPR.
If you still have trouble with stats, I would suggest full DEX or mostly DEX until you feel your double punch cannot get any faster, then adding the rest into STR.
Going full SPR or mostly SPR is only if you have more than enough gear to compensate for the lack of STR and DEX (aka Trans 10 high enhance weapon, ~100 STR, 150/190/220 DEX depending on your ping uninvested stats), which I believe not many would have due to the costs and RNG involved. I simply suggested full SPR as:
- My rotation after getting such a weapon and stats on equipment is simply because when you have so much damage, zealot skills are more than enough and I never use my monk skills. In my case, I simply benefit more from SPR with my current set-up.
- The skills in the krivis-zealot combo simply benefits more from SPR while only monk benefits from DEX.
- Maybe also the fact that I have lvl 50 enhance in most skills and lvl 100 enhance in double punch and energy blast.
TD:LR basically full SPR is simply an option for krivis-monk-zealot when you have a huge amount of investment in gear. Otherwise, Full DEX or mostly DEX and some STR. Once you invested into a character up to a certain extent, anything becomes viable. Different people, different set-up, different stat builds I guess?
So does this mean the general C2 P2 M3 Inq build remains for physical/DEX monks or is that just not worth it anymore with zealot out?.
I canât seem to figure out a build where a DEX/Physical Monk build would be even remotely better or even close.
on that note would C1 P2 Diev1 M3 (fill) work I wonder
Just go with the build you like. As long as you whale enough, anything becomes viable (speaking as someone who went Cleric3 Sadhu3 Monk3 just because of lore and for fun, and carried ET floors and challenge mode with it).
As it remains, monks simply doesnât have a proper R8 to go to, and either way is possible. Heck, even Cleric3 Paladin1 Monk3 Inquisitor2 sounds viable if you spend enough.
I would love to see any gameplay video of you build *- *
I always loved the idea of Sadhu>Monk and I ended up leveling one but only with Sadhu 1.
I already rank reset it so its too late, though I would probably go back to the build just because.
I made the build believing that monk 3 is all I need (double punch best dps skill xD) and I hated the idea of priest and diev in a monk build (Iâm fussy with class lore, like câmon, sadhu IS a kind of monk). I did Sadhu Monk back since beta, and liked Sadhu feeling kinda like body relocation/snap from RO days.
OoB + Double Punch during GBS + SZ, Possession + Prana for CC, ABE for those mobs who run away, Vashita for memes and Prakriti for heals (my heals as full DEX is poop so I leave my lvl 16 heal for team mates and make do with Prakriti). With a T10 +11 Skull Breaker with red gems (and matk from dumb hair accessory rolls that came with my patk/crit rate/movement speed/catk), I have far more than enough damage to go hybrid damage magic skills.
I intended to make this build just to depend on monk, OoB+DP memes and pass full DEX prana to melee dps for aspd or catk, but I ended up loving it because of the AOE, CC, heals and that my magic skills hit hard with such a weapon. Property damage is also quite meta in challenge mode, and Possession + Prana works wonders. Itâs also a build that opened my eyes that anything works as long as you have a good weapon.
With that said, itâs a preference build that does not work as well as meta builds. Buff skills like zealot skills work well as additional damage with monks who double punch all day, compared to sadhu skills which are channeling or has some risks involved. I reset to zealot monk to try it out, and also because IMC never clarified if Transmit Prana psychokinesis damage not working with physical skills is a bug or not (sent tickets, they donât even know how transmit prana works and even asked me to explain how it should have worked, let alone the fact whether its a bug or intended), urging me to switch over (regretted it though).
i did on one of the resets cleric3-diev3-monk3. and I loved it.
I absolutely adore Diev and Monk in cleric tree, hence the thing.
My idea was like a roleplay âstatue maker decided that everything he did was dumb, and decided to convert to monkâ kind of a thing. I had few laughs. It was okay since my gear allowed for it to be so, but you are right, Meta is always stronger. no metter how whale you are. (with the exception of whale that does 777 777 with all the skills)
Then again, as long as you whale weapon-wise, you remain viable to a largely comparable extent, just not as optimal. Compared to a person who goes full-on meta build but does not spend as much on his equipment, you are much more viable (unless youâre a support then build is important)
Quite a fair trade to play the monk build you prefer~
Fellow Monks, I am getting my ass kicked in high level chellenges as with Field boss.
I guess my poor leather equip is to blame, i was wondering if you guys are going with leather or plate.
I am thinking to invest in the raid equips but i need to decide which set to persue.
it depends, plate makes more sense from defense perspective, but Leather still gives a little more damage wise.
I just use whatever gear i have that gives STR/CON/SPR
