I think its a bug that needs to be fixed, pressing directional keys and attack button at the same time while Oob is active makes the spirit slide uncontrollably (I already made a thread)

In my tests, the blunt damage was higher, even with a higher Rod magic attack.

The way you wrote it became a little ambiguous.
Deprotected tiles casted by the enemies works like our own buffs. If your OOB stepped on it, your damage will increased much like all the other buffs like cure and monstrance.
Also wearing Arde Dagger increases OOB damage. From my experiment increment is around 75 to 100 from 5xx to 6xx per hit.
How do you get Arde Dagger? :<

Hi, have a question about [Deprotected Zone], It says it decrease ennemies defences. So both Physical and Magical defence right? So would be usefull to grab this for a sadhu?
Iâve gotten myself an arde dagger and I can say that it could be BiS for sadhu.
tested on high vubbes, pure int build.
oob w/o dagger = 250 damage
oob + zalcai w/o dagger = 480 damage
oob w/ dagger = 380 damage
oob+ zalcai w/ dagger = 600 damage
Sorry for asking you to repeat yourself, but have you verified it has no effect on hp? Level 10 Vashita should reduce con by 50, which should reduce max HP by 4250. The way it would work in most games is that drop in max HP = drop in current HP. The HP bar would still look full, but in fact mobs would have 4250 hp less. It likely canât reduce hp past certain threshold, but against targets you canât 1-shot with explosion, Vashita should deal way more damage.
This is going from description, but so far I have not seen anyone confirm, that Vashita does not drop monster hp considerably.
If the scalling comes from sub weapon stats, shouldnât a gray dagger add more than arde dagger? Or do you think scaling comes from âfire attack upâ?
Vashita siddhi is bad because I believe it is a channeling spell? just got to test it and couldnt really see a difference.
I dont have a gray dagger to test it with sadly. And those things cost a ton.
It must be the fire attack up. =) Now that we âdiscoveredâ element attack is possibly taken account into âmagical damageâ of OoB. Time to check for other attributes like poison attack?
Tested with a knife, oob damage did not change. I wonder if that fire attack dagger works for any other build.
Vashita is a channel skill, you cannot use other skills or auto attacks during it. Nor does it change the mobs health bar while it is in effect. (even when damaged prior to said skill) Afterwards i still needed the same amount of hits to kill mobs as i did without it.
Basically it only affects max health, not current.
I tested it again on mobs in Mage tower which is resistant to fire. The damage is almost the same. Im assuming any elemental damage increases oob damage.
In such case, this should be the same effect as Sanctuary - the holy damage part buffs OOB.
Sorry for double post, but this might be interesting. This guy discusses the buff to OoB damage from Zalciai, Monstrance and Cure:
He observes, that Zalciai gives a slightly bigger buff (making a hypothesis that it is due to Magic Amp attribute). However, his video shows something we might have all missed up till now.
At 3:50 he applies Zalciai, going up to his higher damage threshold (hitting mob at 4:17). However, He than attacks another mob at 4:19 and he deals the âlowerâ damage (the one he gets from monstrance only). A-ha! This timing window corresponds to Zaicial buff duration. While the âhidden bonusâ is up as long as you stay in OoB, the small difference Zaicial has lasts only for zaicial duration.
Therefore my conclusion is, that all ground buffs provide the same damage increase for duration of OoB. On top of that Zaicial provides a small buff (from Magic amp (?)) which only lasts as long as the actual buff.
If someone who has Kivris -> Sadhu wants to confirm the above, please enter OoB, run through your Zaicial, start dealing damage and notice, if after ~30 sec you start dealing slightly less damage.

Itâs cause de amplification, Zalcial buff will amplify (attribute amplification) when the buffs down, the damage goes down too.
