After testing this, I wonder if its worth trying that Perfect Dodge build.
Its 1/3 the damage but you basically never die/get booted from OoB so theres constant DPS.
Its looking more and more viable, even a split int/dex build would be ok since you don’t rely only on safety wall (which is what I’m doing right now)
For the max profit with OOB monstrance is 1 level skill enough?
Thanks for the info tirannon!! Very useful. Looks like I’ll be dropping Priest then. Any into on whether the rank of Zelciai matters? Or can I just leave it at lv 1?
What would be your ratio for DEX?
I have been thinking of DEX:SPR:CON for 3:2:1 since I will be a Priest base.
Thanks for testing!
Both Zalciai and Monstrance get considerably stronger with high INT. The damage difference between both skills is not that big tho.
I think people can stick to the class they like more (the path with more damage potential or party support), or the one which will get better synergy for his/her other Rank choices.
Like Krivis + Diev or Priest + Bokor.
You need so much evasion to be perfect dodge.
I put everything into Dex, 160 with Monstrance active.
450 Evasion, still couldn’t perfect dodge.
Gonna have to try with Leather Mastery (and begin leveling that up).
I read earlier someone had around 577 to get perfect dodge.
The damage is reasonable without any int, especially if I can keep OOB up forever.
Does damage knock you out of Oob? I didn’t think it did
It does. You have 0 defense while oob and taking damage recalls your spirit.
Im testing here, lv80 sadhu
Cleric>Krivis>Priest>Sadhu
OoB lv1
Target: ticen
Base damage: 135
OoB+Monstrance : 280
OoB+Zalcial : 290~300
OoB+Monstrance+Zalciai: 290~300
Monstrance is almost like Zaiciai, but they don’t stack
117 INT
28 DEX
22 SPR
Sadhu can pose while in OoB form (F8)
If you use Pet in your companion, main body moves
Aspersion, blessing, doesnt change oob damage
You cant use mouse to move properly in oob form
after playing sadhu, do you guys think it’d be useful for a monk to have 1 circle of sadhu without any int or krivis?
(ex: cleric > priest 2 > sadhu > monk)
Also, please explain your reasoning!
I think that is good news. If it stacked we would all be ‘locked’ into one build.
Does anyone know, what the levels even do? Be description they don’t differ…
Thanks a lot for testing and sharing. One thing that comes to my mind - Satoru reported, that sacrament also increases OOB damage. The increase wasn’t big, but neither is the difference between monstrance and zacial. So, maybe (to balance thing out) they have zacial = monstrance + sacrament? Or even monstrance < zacial, but monstrance + sacrament > zacial?
In my priest build I already see, that buff limit will be a problem. Safety wall counts towards buff limit. So does revive, obviously. Therefore I am alone able to break the buff limit (aspersio, sacrament, blessing, monstrance, safety wall, revive). Sure, while going OOB you are not going to use blessing … unless you want to buff your party. They will also bring their useless buffs, like fire enhance, which will ‘push’ your buffs away (oldest one rotates out). I’m afraid that for any support character it will be ‘Daino or gtfo’.
I am buying or creating my own alt to get Daino.
A Krivis -> Pardoner could not be difficult to level, I believe, and I can switch to it before I go to sleep for AFK profit.
Regardless, I can see many alt Pardoner selling for cheap. And you only need it when you are partying, which is two hours a day in average? At most, you need 200 scrolls, which I assume it will be reasonable.
Thanks for the information.
Sounds like I need to go Full Dex for dodge, but not sure if this is worth it just for a sub-stats.
Hopefully get to know more about other classes, and see what combination we can have.
Krivis C2 or Priest C2 is definitely the best for soloish type play.
One nice advantage of both krivis and priest c1 is the double buff for party members. Zalcai for mages and monstrance for everyone else.
Definitely going to be tricky to get to perfect dodge status.
Might have to be level 110 pure dex to do it with leather master and 4 piece leather set.
Ill let you guys know when I can be perfect dodge and the type of damage I can dish out
Thanks for doing the test.
I guess it is hard to test the dodge, as it is related to hit point. Different monsters and levels may affect that. I believe ~40 level is 100 points between dodge and hit rate. I think they may increase the base (100) with the old formula [100 - (hit rate - dodge rate) x 100%], may raise it to 200 (+80 in Dex) or 300 (+120 in Dex).
I’m thinking of max dex + that dex decreasing skill. Hopefully that will work out enough.
Im Curretly priest based ,
Cleric - Priest -Priest -(Planning ) Sadhu,
is it wise for me to turn to sadhu ?
as previous posted all related sadhu damage to INT , Priest seems like a decent Class to be with with all buffs
Never go further then c1 priest in combination with sadhu imo. The only good thing about it is monstrance with the +dex and oob dmg bonus for a possible dex sadhu if that ever becomes viable.
Otherwise:
Aspersion is useless because you don’t have physical defense in oob.
Blessing does not trigger from hits from oob.
Sacrament likewise, no additional hit, no additional damage and no partial holy dmg for oob.
Go krivis sadhu imo.
Priest2/3 at this point seem best for monk/paladin and little else…,
Hey JoJo whats the name of the map of your screenshot?
Hello,
A bit more info about Sadhu :
No difference in damage between Zalciai lv 1 and 10.
Cure give the same damage boost as Zalciai (without the attribute) and monstance.
Seem like Cure,Zalciai and Monstrance activate the same “secret synergy” and none of them is stacking, Zalciai just give more damage cause of the Magic Amp Attribute.
