imc doesnt even loom at sadhu anymore, i wouldn be suprised if there was a hidden buff where cure made oob do 1 million dmg and ic didnt do anything
They’ve been neglecting many skills and bugs for months… So I don’t think that’s because they intend to leave it like that.
why not 2 ranks of diev?
Seriously?!! this buffs the damage by that much?
It’s so hard to invest on Sadhu with the fear of hidden buffs being removed at some point
I listed up some of the most persistent Sadhu bugs in the unresolved bugs section:
Feel free to add some in case I forgot any.
I love how wildly the consensus everyone here swings from swearing by Cleric3 for fade bubble boy action into now 'OH MY GOODNESS THE OOB DAMAGE BUG IS BACK!" which has like always been there if you didn’t live in a bubble this whole time.
This is very possible. It’s also possible that they simply wished to make Sadhu class choices a little more challenging as opposed to, “Whatever you choose to build, you have access to hidden buff.”
/shrug. Either way, I doubt we’ll see any Sadhu oriented changes for another several months at the very least. Compared to releasing new content we’re small fries.
Well I think the hidden buffs are just bugs. If you think about it from the programmer point of view: when you use out of body your character effectively becomes the spirit, and your body becomes a npc. The way it is implemented probably means your spirit inherits all characteristics of a player character (hence the ability to be buffed), and thus, these bugs occur.
I highly doubt divine might and ausrine are “hidden combos” to boosting out of body. It just feels like they were overlooked when the devs took out the ability to buff the spirit (probably means they had to disable each buff of the game manually).
The fact blessing doesn’t work with out of body was explicitly stated as intended by the devs. Probably due to the buff mechanic bugging out of body in the first place.
I don’t think (and hope) sadhu will stay as it is. IMC just prefers to do very slight changes to skills bit by bit until players are satisfied with them rather than making drastic changes and complete overhauls.
The area increase for out of body and reach for possession were the slight changes they made with hopes to satisfy the players. Hopefully soon enough they’ll figure out it didn’t really change much and they still have a lot of work to do.
Welp, I think you did the right thing uninstalling. If we were to keep at this rate of content release you’re looking at 6+ months for a patch that may or may not even happen. By then they will just release a new circle stealing everything good about Sadhu’s concept in another form.
This company is literally the worse I’ve ever seen next to Niantic. You can count all the buffs and OOB damage being tagged as a “bug” for sure because their coding is flat out horrible. It’s an old bug that’s just not been patched for these buffs. To allow these they would have to go back and change the other buffs or be hypocrites for nerfing them.
Chances are though they will be lazy with patching it unless people give them a reason like being top in PvP and PvE for something.
Can you still Transmit Prana into your spirit? I got recently to Sadhu3(Cleric2DievSadhu3), and while I can use transmit prana on others without problems, it doesn’t seems to work with my Spirit, was this interaction removed?
I was hoping to finally get some OOB damage boost, that isn’t reliant on bugs that will prob be fixed(like the magic circle ones), it’ll be really disappointing if this was removed.
It was removed a ways back. Sorry, mate.
Thats really sad, thanks for the answer.
Ever imagined a big Werewolf casting possession without getting canceled?
Apparently thats legit since Druid3 gets a complete knockback invul while being still able to cast all skills in Werewolf mode ;D
if you cast Possession on a player, can they still use their skills to attack you? (offensive, buff, etc.)
Nope. Targets under Possession debuff (the atk generates a debuff as well as cure) get stuck and can’t move nor use skills.
oh, i see… thanks!

so i was thinking about Dodge Rate in case of Sadhu’s OOB
% = DRplayer - HRmonster / (0.3605 x LVplayer + 18.64) x LVmonster^0.335
vs Lv.238 Brown Colimen, 326 accuracy
Lv.228
natural eva = 231 (0 dex invested)
using Bandit set only (Lv.220) = 114
bonus from mastery (Lv.50 Leather Mastery: Dexterity) = 75
420 = 231 + 114 + 75
OOB mode (+50% Eva) = 630
Lv. 228 = 630 - 326 / (0.3605 x 228 + 18.64) x 238 ^0.335
= 304 / 100.834 x 6.2539338120437
= 304 / 630.6091620036144458
= 48.2%
Lv.238
natural eva = 241 (0 dex invested)
using Bandit set only (Lv.220) = 114
bonus from mastery (Lv.50 Leather Mastery: Dexterity) = 75
430 = 241 + 114 + 75
OOB mode (+50% Eva) = 645
Lv. 228 = 645 - 326 / (0.3605 x 238 + 18.64) x 238 ^0.335
= 319 / 104.439 x 6.2539338120437
= 319 / 653.1545933960319843
= 48.83%
my question would be, is 48% Dodge Rate enough?.. does this really translate to: half of attacks will be dodged?
or does Leather Mastery: Dexterity +50% bonus applies after you add all your Evasion instead of giving +50% from the normal 50 bonus when you learn it at Lv.50?
edit: just did a quick comparison, 1str (or 1con):1dex distribution without OOB is always less than 0dex+OOB
This was like the oldest debacle this thread has ever had in it’s early stages with people talking about a magical number to dodge everything. Perfect evasion doesn’t exist and no matter how much you have something will hit you. People at one point went gaga about full Dex just like being Cleric3 for your typical Bubble Boy build.
From my own testing back in the beta era when stat resets were like candy going full Dex with full armor mastery doesn’t work and you’ll spend more time doing wet noodle damage allowing yourself to be hit.
Not at all (there is a cap on Evasion at 80%). I did some pretty extensive testing on Evasion prior to the cap being discovered. I squeaked out 1600+ Evasion when buffed. Lined up 2 mobs and never made it passed 5 dodges in a row. 80% seems like a lot, but it really isn’t reliable enough to sacrifice any gear or stat point choices. Also, magic cannot be dodged. At all. So yeah, the idea of a perfect dodge build, although unique/interesting, is entirely unpractical.
I mean, it was discussed briefly (like a week during icbt2), and we discovered it wasn’t viable after a handful of players tried it out. I wouldn’t really call that a debacle.
