[Class] Official Plague Doctor Thread

I tested both and overall it felt like SadhuC3>PD3 performed better, specially in sustained DPS. Zealot has an easy setup burst AOE, but with proper skills usage PD3 can perform similar for burst situations.

Build 1: Cleric C2>Krivis C3>Oracle C2>Zealot 2 full SPR
The strongest combo is Fanatic Illusion + Blind Faith. Immolation and Fanaticism are pretty weak compared to PD3.
Blind Faith is a damage increase buff just like Blessing and Transmit Prana, much more stronger (as long as you have a large SP pool), but the problem here is that Blind Faith has a 40 hit count, which is way too few in aoe situations. You have an insane aoe burst for only a short period of time, and after that you have to wait 35~40 seconds to both skills come off cooldown, while you recover your SP through potions or sitting.

Build 2: Cleric C2>Diev C1>Sadhu C3>Plague Doctor C3 80 SPR rest INT
Nothing different from what I played before the patch (I was SadhuC3/PD2). This build is more consistent for DPS, and can have similar burst potential compared to Zealot (Black Death Steam + Incineration + Possession). The only downside is that you need to cast the skills in the right directions, while Zealot has an easier setup for burst.

Perhaps Bokor C3 instead of Krivis could be stronger for DPS. I dislike summon classes, but I’ll try to test this build to see how it performs compared do PD3. Krivis Melstis is not really necessary, since usually Blind Faith will reach its hit count before Fanatic Illusion ends.

I’d like to build a
Bokor C3 - Miko - Plague 3

suggest me Bokor skills since i don’t know if a full INT build will be good or i’ll use it only for hexing

This is the best build for PD (100% INT) so far: https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#411444ieee.1a2a345561.1c2f3141517a95.15213554.152f325b7a8191

Have fun.

How crucial miko in this build if I want to switched it to priest1?

And bokor3 is better than sadhu3?

I’m still clueless what to reset my only cleric class here for party play and some dps for solo content.

Miko isn’t crucial at all, it’s just taken for hamaya’s extra dmg circle.

I think prior to r9 Bokor3 had better theoretical dps, but bokor3 is more erratic dmg wise as it depends on enemies not resisting hexing and avoiding low zombie respawns from Damballa.
After r9, I think Sadhu3 might have the best dmg atm due to transmit prana and the increased hit count on bds+incin.

But regardless, both builds are extremely good so I’d say just pick what you want.
Bokor has dmg outside of bds/incin due to Damballa and a move speed buff, it’s also less prone to interrupts.
Sadhu has more dmg on the DoT’s, and is very simple and reliable to use atm. Just keep in mind that Methadone fixes the issues with possession and ObE interruption wise. (You do take more dmg with it on after all.)

Thanks a lot. I’ll watch some videos first before deciding my build.

Reason for 80 SPR for sp regen?

the miko pre quest is fun too. Plus the dancing.

To increase a bit SP pool, but the build still burns my mana, so full INT is probably better.

I think I’ll change my build. Too much setup everytime I need to buff Transmit Prana, and the mana problem as well, so I’m still deciding what build I’ll make for this char.

Anyway for now I’ll leave this char in third priority. My main is now a Chrono/Enchanter AA. I’ve been always main Cleric, but after playing with Chrono, Cleric seems to be in slow motion. And the other Cleric I have, I decided to roll Cleric C3>Paladin C3>Kabba C1>Zealot C2. I always wanted to play as a Paladin since before the first closed beta, and now I found this build that’s pretty good.

For now I have my Paladin and my Chrono which I’m satisfied and will not reset anymore. For the Sadhu C3>Plague Doctor C3 and another SR3 Farmer (now replaced by the Chrono/Enchanter), I’m still deciding what I’m going to make.

can you link the build plz> i agree on chrono it is like crack

Something like this: https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#4111bbbfjj.1f213a5561.1f2e61759a.35.2a4a5565

100 SPR, rest STR

Cleric: max heal, cure lvl1 to remove debuffs, other remaining points according to preference;

Paladin: I want to prioritize damage. Sanctuary looks good but I don’t like stationary skills and I don’t intend to make ET. Also for this reason barrier lvl 1 seems enough. Remaining points all in Restoration, which increases HP regen for something like 840 with attributes. This extra regen increases the ammount healed by Heal. With heal lvl +15, that’s an additional 25k heal per cooldown for the party, compensating the lack of INT or SPR to scale with Heal;

Kabbalist: only to recover mana with Ein Sof attribute. Not tried Merkabah with attributes yet;

Zealot C2: scales good with STR. Perhaps weaker than full SPR on burst with Blind Faith, but I intend to make full critical rate gems and equips for high critical chance, so Blind Faith has good sinergy with the critical damage attribute. Also, Paladin Conviction increases Fanatic Illusion and Immolation damage. You can also drop 1 point in other skill to have Invunerable at least lvl 1 if you fight against a lot of bosses and want the knockback resistance.

Perhaps not the strongest build with cheap equipments, but with high critical rate may have some good potential with sustained aoe dps and a lot of healing. Easy setup and the most fun build I ever played on Cleric tree.

Hi just wondering if there’s been recent change in BDS animation. I used to get the green mist but now I don’t. I tried turning on all options in my effects settings but it still wouldn’t show up. Hope anyone knows what’s wrong.

EDIT:: Figured it out lol. I turned ticked all the boxes in the effects settings and then restarted steam. Solved it. I knew it had something to do with showing effects for other players, but when I turned that on before, it didn’t immediately applied to the game, so I guess I had to restart for it to work.

Heya,
So i just hit Lv 270 on my first character ( cleric 2 priest 1 sadhu 3 PD 1 ) and im rocking the cafrisun set and i feel rather squishy in dungeons etc. What gear should I aim for/get to increase my survival? I’m totaly lost =/

Just do dungeons, you will get gear from that, when you hit 315-350 you can farm at HG to get endgame gear, you also can just buy some 270 gear from market if you want it fast, they are probably cheap

Cleric2 | Dievdirby3 | Miko | Plague Doctor3 anyone tried this on full spr or is it better to still go int? Maybe a mix of both?

@pigbath I go full INT on this build cause i like Plague doctor a lot and want it to be an important part of the build. Full SPR wont deal as much damage for sure. Havent played a full SPR PD myself but according to what my friend said, the ticking dmg when you go full SPR is about 3-5 times less than full INT.

You are so wrong, in so many levels, full spr reach higher DPS combined with owls, the difference DPS wise in full spr/int isn’t noticeable at Max level with good weapons, only make difference when you don’t have any +11/16 trans weapon and not that much after all, also full spr doesn’t suffer from sp problems, believe me this is an huge issue at higher levels

I did say ā€œhavent played a full SPR PD myselfā€ and ā€œaccording to what my friend saidā€ havent i? Do you understand what those phrases mean?
I dont go hardcore on the PD cause its not my main, and im not a fan of Owl statue. I take Diev3 solely for support and ailment stacking to make use of Inci duration effect. In my point of view, with casual (good but no trans) gear i prefer INT over SPR. Period.

Edit: i stack SPR from gear so most of the time i dont need to use SP pots. Another dude in my guild also claims that he doesnt need to use any SP pot on his SahuPD most of the time.

PD use agny or max peta as necklace ?

Agny all the way.

You’ll need like 1k extra matk to outscaled +50% fire dmg for Incineration. You can always use Penta to maximizes other magic spells.
