[Class] Kabbalist Overview

They don’t stack, if a monster is affected by one of the debuffs, can’t overwrite it.

( I hope this do not bother you guys )

Hi Hi ClericHolic!! :distinguished:
Here’s another Clerics Guide!!
This time the Class is the Kabbalist, a perfect Healer for the current ToS content.
Do you know everything about the class? Check it out in today’s Clerics Guide.
I even said a little more suggestions in this video but who decides what is right for your build is only yourself.
I hope you enjoy the information!

Your video is wrong at so many points.

  1. Kabbalist is not a Healer. It’s defensive debuffer & buffer. Only Circle C3 recently got a recovery skill that has a unique recovery mechanic. The main feature should be the 50% damage reduction, though (again, meaning that the Class has a focus on defence).

All in all, let’s look at the defensive features of the Class:

1st Circle: Revenged Sevenfold

  • prevents receiving more than 1 damage for one hit while reflecting the augmented damage

1st Circle: Ein Sof

  • increasing the HP pool of the character by 10% * skilllevel + 3000 HP * skilllevel reduces the chance to get incapacitated by enemy attacks; also boosts the recovery of potions and recovery skills by 100% via Stacked Healing attribute

2nd Circle: Merkabah

  • with its Divine Protection attribute, you have a chance to evade magic damage while also increasing your magic defence by 10%

3rd Circle: Tree of Sephiroth

  • with its damage reduction in the AoE of fixed 50% for 10 seconds, it greatly reduces the threat of being defeated by endgame boss monsters.

3rd Circle: Class attribute Kabbalah Garments

  • allows the Kabbalist to block magic attacks with a shield at half the chance of physical block chance

Meanwhile, we only have Tree of Sephiroth to feature a recovery that is based on max HP, meaning it will be more effective on people with more base HP, which is reverse to the trend of Heal/Mass Heal/Chortasmata, which are more effective on characters with less max HP now thanks to how Healing Power works.

  1. Gematria and Notarikon can easily produce the same results.

The way the numbers calculated may differ, but that doesn’t mean that the skills “can never find equal values” as you stated in the video.
This is simply a false assumption/statement.
There are in fact monster names that produce the same results for both Gematria and Notarikon.

  1. Merkabah

First of all, Merkabah will only provide a chance to evade magic attacks (not all attacks) with the Divine Protection attribute active.

Secondly, the damage is not doubled, neither by mounting the chariot nor by targeting a large or devil race target.
Every bonus here provides + 100% skillmodifier damage to the damage calculation formula.
This means that when riding a chariot and causing it to explode near a devil or large enemy, you will only get a total of 300% of the initial explosion damage.
If it was doubled, you’d expect 400% damage at this point, which is not true.

You also didn’t mention that these boni do not affect the collision damage the chariots deal when coming close to an enemy, which decreases the overall damage boost of the skill when riding/hitting a devil/large monster even more, compared to what you stated as “double the damage”

Last but not least, you state that Kabbalist is a much required Healer, yet you basically require Cleric C3 and Priest C2 to put on Kabbalist, which provide over 80% of the heal in the build.

As I stated earlier, Kabbalist is not a healer.

It may augment the role of a healer that is the half-identity of the Rank 1&2 Classes of the Cleric Class tree, but it does not provide what would be required to be a Healer, i.e. a focus on damage mitigation and recovery (i.e. only 1 skill at the last Circle of Kabbalist, which was only recently added).

Try to run a Kabbalist C3 without any Priest and only Cleric C1, there goes your “Healer”.

In my opinion, Druid recently became the better support.

More damage[Carnivory is stronger than Nahash and the enhancement attribute costs less to improve),
more mitigation(Sterea Troph with 50% to 62,5% uptime),
better self-protection(Transform+attributes or demi-wolf),
better damage boost (Henge Stone not as gimmicky as Merkabah for dmg boost)
and better recovery (Chortasmata unaffected by circle destruction&Reversi, only scales with CON, 100% uptime at level 5+C2 attribute or level 10)

Druid also allows you to go for Zealot or Exorcist C2 at Rank 10 to add damage to your build.

what a weird way of saying “Kabbalist is a very well rounded support class”

Guys im building a cleric3 priest3 kabba3 100 con rest spr, with rank 10 i think to pick chap for AA (i like AA build with full support) but, end game contend needs full con sup to be good (i think) or not? velcoff and etc, or just go full con with a good weapon +15 and be nice AA damage or the damage is only good full SPR? i need help with this brainstorm… thanks!

bad idea I think , you won’t have enough ASPD due to lack of DEX, you won’t have daino to turn AA to magic damage so you have to get accuracy and block peneration. You can bypass the need for Daino by turning your AA to magic using a Rod but it’s very inefficient since Rod AA only hits 1 target and is generally slower AA because the projectile has to fizzle/hit something first before you can do the next AA. So staff of kabbala does not count.

I suggest dropping rank of either priest or cleric and take druid 2, druid 2 just gave so much things: AOE damage, CC, regen and invulnerability.

I think dropping Priest is a better option if ever they are going with that build because of how Heal: Linger works.

Does accuracy really matter? I don’t have str in many of character and I never seems to miss my target. Plus when you bossing/Velco, you’ll always have Monstrace debuff up for -def reduction. Could even get higher level if you worried about hitting.

@arieostringhi
I think you are going spr for Priest buff. Imo don’t bother and just use Pardoner shop buff and distribute you stat with higher Con and Spr(or even Dex).

Cleric2-Priest3-Chaplain-Kabba3 can still handle Velco party well.

@arieostringhi end game content doesn’t need full CON support to be good. Imo the only time going full CON is good is when the kabbalist has a lifelong linker c3 buddy.

Personally I think that going C3 Priest3 Kabba3 is overkill in terms of heals. Outside of Velcoffer there isn’t much content that needs that much heals. Even in CMs a single druid’s Chortasmata is enough to keep everyone topped up most of the time.

It will be great out of the 3 classes, pick 2 of them and use the free circles to get some utility classes that can help the party in other aspects + also improve on the DPS of the build. Druid, Krivis, Paladin are good examples of such classes.

Is chortasmata like a tree of sepiroth and nachash fused?

I went Cleric3-Priest2-Druid1-Kabba3 (Full spr, going druid2 for r10), and just like Nekorin said, its absolutely overkill in heals. With Guardian saint on, I have 3370 Healing power, which we definitely don’t need that much.

Even without maxed attributes for heal+mass heal, and using Heal as damage, it can keep the entire party at full Hp on CM’s stage6-7. I’m not sure about velco since I’ve never done it, but other than that I dont think this game has any content that needs that many heals.

@arieostringhi It heals by a flat amount and gives a poison debuff that damages enemies. Just keep in mind it’s heals are worse than Sephirot, and its dps doesn’t hit flying targets. Still is an amazing skill though.

U can go for Oracle 1 instead of Priest 3. Counterspell is very usefull against a lot of things, like Velcoffer’s Boss and Mini Boss, Nuaele, Blut, PvP and GvG content, etc.
Also, if you don’t need that much healing, you can also choose another circle instead of Cleric c3. Pardoner for PvP and GvG, coz of Indulgentia and Discerning Evil.

My Build is Cleric 2>Diev 3> Priest 1> Kabba3

is it good enough?
and what is the efficient way to invest skill point at kabba class? is it good to maxed ein soft?

i choose diev 3 cause i love the owl and world tree due to its cc and damage.
i take priest 1 just for its ress skill and if R10 release i can choose between cleric C3 for its more healing power or Priest 2 for its mass heal

i take cleric 2 because, its already good enough to be a healer,.

Thanks.
