[Class] Kabbalist Overview

Hmm, if it is a self buff and it sustains throughout the duration of the buff only to be applied when a monster is afflicted with notarikon or gematria… it will be a really good skill.

Have to wait for the patch notes to be out. Really hope it is XD

But even then, I don’t know how I feel about it… It’s still single target, and you’d need to pick both notarikon and gematria to be able to use it constantly, that means a lot of skill points for a single target dps skill…

The mob duplication skill has a really long cooldown (73 sec) so i’m not sure how I feel about it… If it doesn’t give extra exp, it’s not really useful for grinding.

Merkabah attributes look really good and that’s where I’m betting everything for Kabbalist C2’s strength.

Ein Sof lvl 10 won’t be a big deal because even if you’re able to recast it before the duration is over, you’ll always need to re-heal your new maximum hp.

But Gematria and Notarikon are not single target are they? So if the buff stays on you you could actually hit multiply targets… I guess.

Same as reduce level IIRC, target numbers depends on skill levels…

But yeah I personally can’t live without Ein Sof, multi hit math is really just filler just like Smite for Paladin. Just pick Inquisitor/Tao if you want maximize your DPS skills…

yes you can

still am pretty disappointed in the kabba 2 so far … compared to the plagues 2 overlords

Saw the videos. Yes the multiply damage is pretty disappointing due to the cooldown times and the way it is applied. Need 2 spells just to get a random hit number. If for example Notarikon rolls a 0 for the mission golem… the skill is moot.

I’ll rather it be a player buff and every time Gematria and Notarikon is casted the next attack from the player with the buff will deal X times damage.

Looking for videos on Merkabah buff. Kabbalist in C2 is really weak compared to PD as of now… hope Merkabah can come save us.

I think the new Merkabah attributes may be the only saving grace for Kabbalist at this point. I had a strong feeling C2 wasn’t going to be game changing for the Class from the preview.

Then again the preview mentioned Kabbalist was supposed to be much more Defensive, so I hope the new Merkabah attributes can support that.

Wow… it is INCREDIBLY disappointing. I wasn’t expecting it to be that bad… I can only think of a nice utility for it if you party with someone that has a really strong single target damage skill (musketeer, for example) and use it in a boss or something with proper party member coordination.

Merkabah’s attribute has to come out really amazing at this point to save kabbalist c2…

Seems like Kabbalist C1 -> Inquisitor is not a bad choice for us too. Those pears blessed with R7F reflect the actual damage back instead of 1 damage… hmm. Check 2.14 onwards.

Man this build is similar to me except replaced Paladin to Monk… Really good combo but wishing a real PvE stuff (not rush boss)…

At the bright side, looking many damage burst from other class actually indirectly buff Kabbalist too with RS and Ein Sof alone. If you see Kabbalist and Inquisitor (either 2 people or 1 person in same build) you can’t easily pull your oneshots. Plenty people still die from RS on PvP despite easy solution to negate RS… PD+ Kabba build also not bad too…

Yeah. Right now I’m kind of leaning to either Inquisitor or Taoist instead of Kabbalist c2. We will see once more videos and testing is done from the ktos side.

Hopefully our friends in ktos can help us video the 2 things left:

  1. Merkabah new attributes, how much bonus attk/def does the buff give
  2. Multiply damage attribute, is it a 50% chance to proc additional multiplicative damage or 50% chance to proc the normal multiply damage.

Edit: some vids from the ktos thread

This has been patched.

Thanks for the information. 1 less gimmick for the class T_T

well the only thing that can save the kabba for me will be duplicate :

  • does it keep the loot table from the original ?

exemple, since i’m oracle 1 too, if i use Clairvoyance on a Hanaming, and it show : Silver + Hanaming Petal. will the new Duplicated Hanaming will also have Silver + Hanaming Petal or is it random ?

since it doesnt give xp, if it doesn’t duplicate the loot, i rly don’t see any use for that skill, killing 4 or 5 more monster when you farm isn’t that great at all …

I saw the video u put @Nekorin (thank you btw) about the new Merkabah’s attribut.
Once again… meh ! any archer can ruin it very fast.

However, copied monsters cannot be re-copied and will drop silver and items just like the original monster but will not give you more experience points.

Vague IMC is vague…

But, we can think, by the way they word this, that, it could be the same (though, it could mean just that the duplicate will drop loot and silver)…

Well, for now this is the most info about it.

Bokor is int/spr(hex scaling although not as good as full int)…bwakayiman is just a cc. Inquisitors skill set suit pala/monk to boost eachother better.

Kabbalist in general doesn’t fair well against the multi-hit / DoT builds which is most Archer builds.

Though it might be interesting as a mobile damage soak. Because you could throw them into Frost Clouds or the Druid plots to eat up the # of hits or targets.

The other thing is too in 5v5s or GvGs. There are a number of uncontrolable variables being thrown around at once. I think Kabbalist may be somewhere in the middle to low end of usefulness on its own.

Cast R7 on these wheels and the caster will have some intense funny moments wondering why he just dropped dead ;D

The wheels only ever take 1 damage. It’s somewhat lackluster.

Yeah, sometimes I hope they will soak in the full damage so that r7f can proc off them. It wun make Kabbalist OP but more interesting to play. Inquisitor’s pears can proc off the full damage of r7f though.
