hi can you explain again clearly the chronology of mackangdal + revenged sevenfold? as it is so illogical for me, why we take the damaged all by ourself? and how can a kabbalist cast revenged sevenfold on us?doesnt it only able to be casted on self?please elaborate this i need this information more clearly thanks!!
I think I can help ya :D]
Revenged Sevenfold is a party buff, so you cannot cast it in enemies, but your and your allies companions and summons receive it (look like your companions/summons reflect only 1 damage in PvE, and PvP is a mistery for me).
Revenged Sevenfold reflect the damage back to the âdealerâ and the game consider Mackandal damager yourself, I dunno if only the Bokor that casted it will receive the damage or the entire party (I bet in the second option).
So look like it:
Mackangdal (cast) > take a lot of damage from monsters > Revenged Sevenfold (cast) > Mackangdal (end) > Mackangdal damage is blocked by RS > RS reflect it back to you > You receive 7x Mackangdal acummulated damage.
A sweet kamikaze and useless interaction haha
He meant on a fellow party member, and not an enemy. But no, you cannot cast Revenged 7x on an enemy because itâs an ally buff.
This is how Mackangdal works, in 3 steps:
- The Bokor casts Mackangdal on his party members.
- The party members take damage from enemies while Mackangdal is buffed.
- ALL of the damage that the party members received while Mackangdal was active, hits the players at the end.
Now, when Revenged 7x is activated, all of the damage is sent back to the Bokor, because Mackangdal damage is considered Bokor damage. If the buff came from the Bokor, then the damage you receive at the end is considered dealt by the Bokor and not the enemies. Itâs just how the skill works. Revenged 7x reflects damage back to the target that caused the damage, and the Bokor caused the damage so the Bokor is the one that gets it.
No, Revenged 7x will buff up to 5 ally targets (Including yourself) within close-range of your character.
That anwser my doubt too.
oh this explains better, so the subject/source of damage after the mackangdal duration is over (when it is reflected) is considered from ourself, so ourself hitting ourself triggers the revenged sevenfold (if it is already casted), then it will reflect again to ourself, am i right?
ok, thanks buddy for the long explanation!
oh and one more, i wanna confirm this here hopefully someone has tested it, does mackangdal works with out of body skill? does it interrupt the out of body skill making the spirit going back to the body?thanks!!
Probably @Sixaxis can help you with that. I donât know much about Sadhu.
And refer to his anwser about RS+Mackangdal, it is better explained~~
thanks for your time and explanation!
btw i wanna confirm this here hopefully someone has tested it, does
mackangdal works with out of body skill? does it interrupt the out of
body skill making the spirit going back to the body?thanks!!
Iâd actually be surprised if the combo didnât get nerfâd in the future for PvP. If a Bokor uses Mackangdal on the party, and then Revenged 7x and right-clicks his own Revenged 7x to remove it, then at the end, none of the party members will take the damage except the Bokor. Thatâs party damage immunity that takes 2 seconds to setup and lasts for 20 seconds (max).
Havenât personally tested this, and some people on the forums says it doesnât interrupt OOB while others say it does. So canât be sure on which sadly.
ohh ok, if it does then we have 3 skills to maintain the oob condition over 50 secsâŠi hope someone have tested thisâŠthanks anyway
Make sense now that I know that it only affect the caster Bokor.
But it only function if nobody take damage after Revenged is casted, no? Ô_o
No, they can take as much damage as possible. As long as Revenged 7x is buffed on them before Mackangdal wears off, the damage will be mitigated.
Hum, like Safety Zone it need some timing. And RS has low range I donât think it need a nerf for now.
You wont get interrupt as long as mackangdal is active. Its funny how your real body gets sent flying but your spirit doesnt move an inch (unless you reach the max range)
Ofc it will cancel when you receive the dmg in the end.
ok thanks man for your info!!!
Do we know if Sadhu can mount the Merkabah when in Out of Body?
Probably not. Though I wouldnât know why you would want to since the riding it may pull you out of Out of Bodyâs range.
Wouldnt it behave the same as when you get hit by Gust? It should simply pull your spirit with it⊠this way the sadhu could overcome the limitation of beeing unable to move while using OoB
