Really? Hmm…
I could test this myself but finding a jackpot mob might take me a little while.
If someone could confirm this for me I’ll update it to the main post.

im maxed out on attris as oracle i can record a video for you if you want
Does anyone know if Prophecy can prevent getting caught by Impaler?
If you are sure of this then I believe your word. You don’t really need to record a video to prove me anything
This is a community collaboration thread afterall so any sort of contribution is very welcome.
you no fun

I found a silver jackpot mob yesterday and used resetting on it to “no item” drop. (and was like: nuuuu fhfkhskh! I’ll kill it anyway!) After killing the monster it dropped silver and white recipes tho. :3 So it really doesn’t work.
Thanks @Avidity to your contribution.
Also, I’d like to apologize to @Naivety for providing wrong information!
I will test it as soon as I can.
i hope its not a temporary gender change … i do not want to switch back from male and female from time to time…NOOOO
Don’t worry about it, as I wasn’t going for Resetting anymore due to your recommendation. Still, good to know it won’t work on jackpot mobs >:
makes you wonder what the hell the change jackpot attribute is meant to be for but hey, IMC quality games ™
dood
i get like ~10 jackpot monsters whenever i play
some extra info
change doesnt always retain the same loot table
so far my theory is that some monsters reset loot table to their own
ill get a video for you about jackpot monster next time i get it
expect me to see me again in like 10 minutes
isn’t that already listed on the main post?
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by that.
Just tested and Impaler is a rank 1 debuff! Dispeller scrolls will prevent it, therefore prophecy works with it perfectly.
I was having a hard time testing with prophecy itself because my oracle has a SPR build, so it almost always resists impaler regardless of the prophecy buff. Also, I’d like to add that if you resist a debuff through SPR, it will not decrease your prophecy blocks amount (that means prophecy blocks debuffs after SPR resistance).
ill show you some videos soon
rng jesus is not on my side after i replied to you : - (
had 5 shiney mobs before within an hour
new one should be coming soon
@mrshadowccg They mean what’s been already stated in the main post, I think: that Change is supposed to change the exp/drop table to the changed mob’s one, and that it doesn’t always happen.
Also, that’s really nice to know, seeing as I intend on making a SPR-based Oracle myself. It’s probably relevant info to add to the main post’s section on Prophecy, too
for the most part change keeps existing loot table
part of the reason why oracle is suppose to be superior in farming specific things
Well that was just my initial intuition, I still need to do more tests before confirming that.
just got another shiny mob, this time oracle spells worked X_X
update
it is possible to reset/clairvoyance on a shiny mob
idk if tos updated or i derped
anyway ill post a few videos with different outcomes
whats happening atm:
ill post bunch of vids with different outcomes by tomorrow, including some derpy things with change.
Uploaded two test videos, confirming my theory that SPR resistance is applied before Prophecy debuff blocks.
Using only lvl 1 Prophecy (2 blocks), I resist 8 fire pillar debuffs, this means Prophecy block amounts are not getting reduced because of my SPR resistance.
In this other test we can see I resist a couple debuffs through my SPR resistance before Prophecy triggers 2 times (having a cilinder visual effect around my character) and then ends.
This confirms the theory that SPR resist is applied before Prophecy.
I’ll update this to the main post.
Lucky mobs will not show the drops from its buff. Certain mobs (especially dungeon monsters) will override drops from the previous monster.
