Class generalized role for group or random

Unique class and group functional… this is a big problem to me for a smooth and fast success. Especially on lower lvl characters. End games is fine everyone is fully geared and have most of the skill high or maxed out… or have the option of difficulty lvl which the higher it is the more random the class is but greater reward. You shouldn’t have a random 5 archer class or 5 priest in an instant… that’s not very professional as a game developers and designer. And yes I know it’s a new game but it’s not new in Korea and it is good that they play their way but don’t market it here the same way and think it’s gonna be easy money or not get any complaints since you are going to be compared with other mmo like World of Warcraft… is anyone gonna try to fix it or not since you already got the money for the Explorer pack ?

I have no clue what you are trying to say.

He wants a system like other MMo have (I think WoW has it)
Where you have to match a role while queueing ( 1 Tank, 1 Heal, 3 DPS)
I think thats what He wants.
And He is ranting over beeing random matched with 5 archers in 1 party…

And you can just take 1 of the option and queue as this. So all Duns shall have 1. Tank, 1 Heal and 3dps.
(That would take an awful load of time to match D: And in ToS we should need smth like 1. Tank 1. Healer 2DPS and 1 CC/Support)

There are so many reasons why that won’t work properly on this game.

If he wants to pick his team comp he should just party manually.

Yes. It wont work out xD
But people nowadays like to complain and rant on everything they can D:

I am okay with the system as it is now. Not really having problems.
5 dps, pots and bonfire is actually kinda fast (with the right people)

Same. I imagine the worst groups possible is 5 swordsman (never been in one myself, as i don’t like swordsman so i don’t have one).

But 5 mage/archer/cleric has been easy same with mixes. The worst group i have had to play is 4 swordsman and any class. Swordsman are the issue here not the que system lol.

But then again i have run into a few rare gems 1 or 2 good swordsman that i found useful. So maybe swordsman are fine and the players are the issue?

People just build their caracter horribly. That’s why they deal low dmg.

But to come back on subject. As a sadhu, I prefer doing Siauli without any swordmans at all. Bosses are easy to just ‘dodge’ tank their attacks.
You don’t even have to take a single hit in the whole run once you know the boss patterns. (While keeping aggro obviously)

That was me xD
4 Swordman and me a Linker c3 @.@
Everywhere pushed back enemys and broken Links T-T
(and broken dreams)

Rest was always okay to play with.

Swordman class is the issue. Right. So sad for them D: Hope they get fixed.

Edit: spelling

Yea bosses don’t really need tanks, taunt is just useful for gathering trash.

I was qued into a mission with 4 quarrels meanwhile im Peltasta3, ive never felt so useless before.:sob:

I bet those quarrels cleared it super fast. This is why i don’t get the complaints about 0 cleric groups. 0 clerics is fine. lots of swordsman is not lol.

I didnt time the run, but it was fast, i couldnt lose hp even if i tried to.

But most of the time qhen i que with randoms, i end up with monks who reserves their heals for themselves, or full con squires, or pure str barb’s who tries their best to facetank even when we got no healer in the party.

Current matchmaking can make the runs very tedious, matchmaker is literally a slot machine.

Yea but i think this discussion is proving match making isn’t the issue but rather some under performing classes.

Cleric probably have the best boss killing class combos of the whole game.
But ya, a lot of clerics are built wierdly and they end up doing very little dmg and the buffs are all flat dmg, which falls off quite a bit the higher level you get.

Kind of, some players has a really low learning curve and underperforms regardless of what build they go with.

Not sure how to express myself without sounding hateful against anyone.Sorry to everyone i might hurt.

Some casuals will have bad team prescense, no matter what build they go with, simply because they arent as good as other players who spends more hours gaming.

Having a structured matchmaker would also in a sense teach the player what they are supposed to do. (its really obvious, but to some people, it isnt)

Ive actually been doing random ques where i think “nice we got someone who can heal, ill do a big pull!”
But the krivis mindset is “im not a healer, im a dps, i got zaibas”

Yea there is also the reverse issue where people think a monk with cleric one is a healer lol. Like they have heal but 5 tiles does not do much.

while this is true, 5 tiles of heal is better than 0 when the party has nothing else to rely on, well there is always the option that the monk keeps the heal to himself and slow down the party with bonfire downtimes.

also debatable if i had the option of 4 quarrel shooters and a monk

Or

4 quarrel shooters and a linker.

Give me that sweet sweet linker.

I agree that heal usually makes things easier, but my point is in this game you really don’t need it. Atleast until the current “end game”

situational, but indeed heal isnt very necesssary, unless tanking mobs that deals magic damage.

4 quarrels and a linker, god the cleartimes

defiantly one of the most fun runs i have done.
