Class for solo play

hey, which class or build you recommend?

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

Too soon to know with all the changes that could be made.
No one has even seen the end-game for ToS.

If you mean only to handle the first 200 levels, I imagine anything that isn’t built purely tank/support can do it.
I’ll leave this to the people who have knowledge of the path to 200.

Warrior Path would be the most suitable job to solo play in almost all RPGS

Well technically everything can solo this game fairly well…

Swordsman have AoE on their regular attacks so they can mob very well but you have to be directly in the monsters face to hit them which in some cases is a bad idea like when you’re against a boss (but that’s why you have potions ) They have a lot of variety in class choice with self-buffs or skill based classes.

Archers have single target ranged DPS which basically means you can keep killing monsters without having to run to another mob to keep farming EXP and if against a boss, you can just kite it. Has some specialized AoE classes but not as much as Swordsman or Wizard

Wizards have good CC capability and if you take a CC class along with a DPS class, then you’ll do fine with mobbing since you can just lay down skills that last for a certain amount of time. Lots of support (even if you’re solo they work well), CC, and DPS (both AoE and Single Target)

Clerics might have trouble with soloing in the beginning but later on in the ranks they do better so if you want to go for the long haul, Clerics would do fine but IMO, they are mainly support with some damage potential at higher ranks. They do have some damage central classes but not much.

Why would you want to play solo in a MMO.

/20characters…

Because people want to be the awesomesauce Kirito and play as a Loner Beater… that sounds so wrong…

Well… i am also a typical solo player… hihi… but if i would find someone to party with that would be awesome… in my opinion, i think most solo players… isnt the type that tries he’s hardest to find a party… if he can manage then he’d rather do it alone… but ofcourse, if being approached and invited then there’s a pssibility of joining…and soloing is thrilling, especially in exploring the game… it is more fulfilling when you discover or learn something new on your own… but as for dungeon runs partying is more fun… fun wise prtying is better but awesomeness wise yea… ill go for soloing…

Some people love to play with other players, another part prefer to play alone (for xy reasons), I’m also a solo player cause most of ppl I met in MMOs were liars or hypocrite, everybody is different ._.
@hkfactor27 “soloing is thrilling, especially in exploring the game” imo it’s one of the best part of the game, even if it’s difficult at the beginning

ok ty i think i go for swordman but idk which build…but im for sure ill add 1 point to dex/str/const every level

and for solo i think my computer uses less resources but idk yet, playing with old computer

@Kanashimi i think i get your point… there are just some people who can’t be trusted… i’ve experienced that too…it terms of soloing… you are correct… even if its hard at the beginning… i think that’s the best part… and that is how we define adventure games… exploring the dangers that lies ahead… i do believe TOS can serve that excitement of adventure we the gamers are looking for…

Stop playing M M O maybe…

It takes all kinds to make a world. In ToS, you’ll see solo players and party players… ._.

Too soon to say. Mana and health stuff is still getting messed with and so are the classes.

Agree, there’s still too many drastic changes to know what is the most suitable class. Well for me, I will either stay Monk or go Squire.

with party matchmaking seems a bad idea going solo, so I think that its better to just have fun with any class that you choose
