[Class] Druid Class Thread

Not really.

You haven’t got Cleric2 or priest3 so your healing won’t be up to scratch past 200. (healing got nerfed by 50% after icbt2).
Sadhu builds are always recommended to have cleric2 as well, due to how good safety zone + fade are for OoB/Possession.

You can forgo r6 for cleric2, but i would not recommend it. Post 2 has example builds if you want to compare.

Is the C2 skill Fade still worth getting with all the Invulnerability the class gets from Sterea Trofh and if you go Diev the Statue of Goddess Ausrine.

Yes! It’s worth getting even though it’s level 1. Why? To erase your aggro.
BUT!
But, don’t, I repeat, DON’T ever ever use Fade while World Bossing. You can thank me why I say that.

Fade makes you immune to all ground spells in PvP for the duration (raise, frost pillar, frost cloud, etc).

I just learned a new bug with [Shapeshifting] and [Transform] “thanks ktos patch”.

Apparently you can drag and drop monster skill/attacks into your skill slot so you don’t have to transform anymore. Your skill bar refreshes once you leave the area though.

Does the Oracle’s change skill always gurantees a spectra or is it a low chance? Will it work for any mob? Eg. Hanaming

It took the friend of mine 2 days to get spectra, maybe we’re just unlucky who knows.

It works on any mobs, just make sure you’re not in any populated areas to avoid any random passerby killing your spawns.

Hello
I’m doing Cleric C2, Krivis C3 and I’ll be Druid.
I would like to know your stats and your attributes. Do you maximize your Zaibas? My Zaibas is level 60 and I’m getting poor!

[/quote]The hell, LOL. Really nice to know, but if so that makes a lot of the utility transformations overpowered, in particular the Safety Wall one… is this bug KR-only?

@topic: are any of the Shapeshifting attributes worth it at all? And thanks A LOT for the guide, it's really helpful

Hoping to go cler2>krivis>bokor2>druid>PD, and hopefully druid2 on rank 8, I really want PD for more sustain and status prevention stuffs but at the same time really want druid2. INT-based build, not too keen on PvP but I’d like to be able to do GvG semi-decently at least. Any feedback?

After ~500 casts you have a 90% chance of getting the monster you want

It works here, I tried it.
It’s a bit awkward though because when you use monster skills theres an animation, if you use it in human form your character is just going to stop sometimes a bit longer to cast the skill.

@kyle_ruiz6 w e l p .
And well, it’s a given that it’d be buggy. But still a very minor downside, considering the sheer utility you get.

EDIT: Kyle, according to the patch notes thread, this issue was fixed in iToS in 6/14. Was your testing done before that? Kind of a bummer, though it’d be very gamebreaking if it weren’t fixed, so it’s good they fixed it quickly…

EDIT: I’d like to add and discuss a post I saw a few days ago.

##On physical/magical transformations usage

[quote=“niataomi, post:19, topic:188576, full:true”]
Since everyone been mentioning about Monk/Paladin. I’ll just add in something i saw in KTOS a while ago.

High STR Cleric isn’t that bad. I have seen most KTOS running full STR Druid with massive critical gears dish out pretty amazing damage comparing Monk and Paladin.

C2 Cleric > C3 Priest > C2 Druid

Keep/transform Blue Pawndel transformation for amazing multi-hit boxes spin with limitless AoE ratio.

Fun build, Cleared ET, and failed in PvP xD (Except for Archer based transformation).

There are certain monsters with multi-shot skills (Especially range), so that work extremely in PvP.
[/quote]I know that kToS is kToS, and here is here. So we shouldn’t be too keen on “x and x works amazingly in KR”…

…but what’s keeping the build from working in the international version at all? I don’t see any recent changes relevant to this build in the patch notes thread, other than the bug Kyle mentioned being fixed. The skill being a multihit would naturally mean it scales well with STR after all, and the Animal-type Specialty does apply (I assume), even if it’d require minmaxing for gear crit in a STR-focused build.

@niataomi, do you have any videos of this build in action?

Also, if that's how it is, then what's keeping a magical transformation from working? Something like Flamme or Siaulav Mage... same idea, 3 hits spammable aoe... there's no particular attribute to benefit from, but being INT-based, it's much easier for other ranks to benefit from the stat build.

And spammable aoe just sounds really desirable in general, it’s not really something that Cleric has access to, the closer you can get is Krivis2/3 (with only 1 aoe skill of 30sec-ish CD).

By the way, are items usable while transformed?

Hi guys, have you tried Oracle-Druid combo? Do you think it would be viable in PvE and Group PvP?

My plan for Druid is C2>Diev3>Druid>Oracle. Stat will be Con & INT. Prio is Con. Any feedback is highly appreciated! Thanks!

You might as well not get druid at all and just go C2>Diev3>Oracle>PD. IMO getting oracle at rank 7 is a huge waste and should only be picked up strictly at r6.

Hey there, I really want to know you guys opinion on this build I’m working on right now (80 CON rest INT): http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/qjnwr9q6hl/ (the extra points in druid are just so I can more easily distribute them in case C3 has anything worth it)

My idea was to have cleric 2 and druid for safety zone and sterea trofh invulnerability buffs, so possession and out of body can’t be as easily interrupted. Then Bokor C1’s hexing + effigy so I can spam effigy together with OOB attacks on single targets as a filler for my possession, cure and carnivory’s downtime. Also, effigy would help me out with flying monsters.

Am I wrong to think Bokor C1 brings much more to this build than krivis 1 or cleric C3?

Thanks in advance

I have almost the same build as you. level 277.
I’ve exchanged some Cure and Divine Might for 10 Safety Zone(more blocks).
and that i took Int:Con 1.5:1.
I wanted to be that sturdy while Animus compensates for MAtk.

Bokor, IMO, doesn’t bring that much.
I rarely use OOB, but when i do, I’ll spam effigy with it IF i can lock/aim Hexing on to that far target.
I also use Effigy when all of my damaging skills are down and also if the enemy is near.
I rarely use pots but Effigy somehow drains my SP.
I don’t care much about Zombies, I just needed them for spamming Tet Mamak La for multi hitting on some scenarios.

Just time Chortasmata+Strea+Carnivory and Safety Zone and you’ll feel some invulnerability for channeling OOB or Possession (in PVE just add Fade).

I’ve chosen Bokor over Krivis for:

  • OOB+Effigy
  • Effigy blind
  • 10second CD hexing when in vulnerable range.
  • and somehow for spamming Tet Mamak La.

What should be my weapon for lvl 170? cata club?

Are there any worthwhile [Small] transformations? (Since the thread doesn’t mention what types are the useful/worth-of-note transformations.)

It’s noteworthy that the Small-type attribute, when maxed, should give enough evasion to reach the soft cap of 80~85% EVA (1100~1300) with no DEX investment. Just enhance and gem a pair of good boots, which should by itself give 200+ eva, add the natural level evasion, and from there you should reach the soft cap if the attribute properly doubles the stat.

Also no feedback on whether STR Druid might work on iToS or not :frowning:

@martinosv Cata’s good for the huge MATK for Carnivory and Cure, yeah.
