[Class] Druid Class Thread

@nammyjaja according to Veritas’s guide, nope, it doesn’t count.

Looking at the sadhu-druid build, I’m thinking that maybe Diev might be a suitable replacement for Krivis/Bokor at rank 3…

This is mainly for 1 thing: Diev class attribute, +20% damage vs plant types while using maces.

The 2 statues can help to draw aggro and have pretty nice effects as well (-sp cost, -20% cd). Carve Attack is ok at low lvls too.

Thoughts?

@zellista for INT-based builds, Cata Club is a popular option, but if you aren’t a Chaplain you won’t use the patk, and it’s easy (and cheap depending on item) to get significantly more matk than Cata by usig a highly upgraded rod. Upgrading rods will give matk, upgrading maces/clubs won’t.

A notable example is +9/+10 Superior Corona rod, a white item, stupidly cheap on the market. But it gives a lot more matk than Cata, and Cata’s probably the best mace matk-wise that you can get. If a white item is unsatisfactory, any other good rod will work.

So, going with a mace is not very efficient for endgame. Diev’s still good, in particular because Krivis1 doesn’t add much to INT builds without c2 if you don’t need Daino, but I wouldn’t go for it if the main factor behind the decision is the attribute.

don’t focus your money on attribute for the low levels. Same it for big stuff as weapon and other gear. Attribute will be in the end. 60 is enough to level up ^^

In that case I guess Diev’s out.

Krivis1 seems like it will mainly add some support (aukuras) along with Zaiba. I’ve heard from a Sadhu-Druid that between possession and druid’s skills, you don’t really have time to use really spam anything else, so Zaiba seems like a good filler compared to Hex/Effigy from Bokor. Daino is not really useful tho, not a lot of buffs on the build.

How about Priest? Like how would you rate Resurrection (and Blessing) in terms of usefulness compared to Zaiba/Daino (which I don’t really need in this build)?
Well, Priest’s considered necessary for endgame PvM at the moment (Earth Tower), if you are interested in that. Soul Crystals are unusable, so you need someone with Resurrect… this is likely to be the case for future endgame dungeons, too. Blessing is decent added dmg for every class.

Dunno about not needing fillers though. Possession’s CD is pretty good… but Druid literally only adds Carnivory as an attack skill (very good but CD is long-ish), sounds like you do get a lot of free time unless Possession kills everything.

Besides, what are you going to against flying enemies when Possession is on CD? You could Out-of-Body autoattack, but those attacks scale really awfully no matter what your build is atm ;;

The only class that could provide me with filler vs flying that still works ok at end-game would be Bokor I guess (since effigy can be spammed together with OOB). Zaibas from Krivis is nice, but 30s cooldown for 18 hits seems a little too weak at endgame.
18 hits is quite a bit, scales very well with both INT and matk, it’s true 30s cooldown is long though. But the main point of Zaibas is the aoe damage on circle2/3.

I’d agree on Bokor having better synergy with Sadhu though. Blind from Effigy can stop the enemy from targeting you or moving, too, so long as you’re not standing right next to it.

Hmm, after thinking about it more, I’m actually thinking of changing my build to:

Cleric2 - Bokor1 - Sadhu2 - x - PD1

I totally did not realize that I could spread Hexing with Pandemic, and Incineration can hit flying targets too so I guess PD would be the better pick since I would have 3 reliable sources of AOE (Hexing-Pandemic-Effigy, Possession, Deprotected Zone-Incineration).

Is Druid C1 still worth taking at Rank 6? My other options would be Oracle (counterspell) or Cleric C3 (more heals).

Hey guys, can anyone tell me whether Carnivory: duration time attribute actually makes it hit slower? I mean Carnivory has a fixed number of hits per level, not per duration. So does extending duration actually reduce hits per second?

I think only one diev rank its the same than only one krivis rank, both need 2 ranks to shine, you should think about it, maybe only one rank for sadhu its ok

That setup looks pretty good, yes.

Yes, Druid c1 is really good dmg against non-flying enemies/single-target. The heals of Cleric c3 are overkill unless you want a GvG-specialized build, and Oracle doesn’t seem to have too big of a synergy with the setup.

I have the same question. Anyone?

By extending duration it just means that carnivory can stay in a given chrotasmata field longer, it does not reduce the hits per second.

Thanks for the clarification, much appreciated.

Oy oy guys some cofusion here:

Im a pvp player so it cover all my question

TELEPATH:
Is this skill change “alligiance” so if I telepath enemy then I cant hurt him with my attack, while the enemy’s magic circle can hurt him

OR

it just let me control the enemy without changing Alligiance???

Ok example:
Duel druid vs pyro

 • the pyro cast flame ground
 • I cast Zaibas
 • I telepath the pyro

Then what skill hurt him? My zaibas or his flame ground?

Some forum said his flame ground hurt him, some forum said my zaibas hurt him
But i saw video on utube and it shows that enemy didnt change alligiance

Which one is true?? Which one is bug??

Is there any prove ( video maybe ) about this skill from the latest update

OMG this game is lack of Information, a lot of ambuguity, and class trap

Thanks anyway for the info

What about this video??

It obviously show that the female druid cast chortamasta and carnivore, and she cast telepath on male druid, drag him to her carnivore and he takes damage(while still in telepath duration)

Is this bug??or hasnt updated yet??

The information wasn’t complete

You gain allegiance to an enemy monster not a player. In other words if you use telepath on a mob it will temporarily be your ally but if you telepath on a player they are still considered your enemy.

As for enemy spells they still interact normally meaning for example a pyro will not be damaged by his own skills if he’s afflicted with telepath.

Hope this answers your question. As for me I’ve been a lvl 280 druid2 for quite some time now and have been involved in several wars so I can confirm these informations.
