[Class] Druid Class Thread

Nope to all 3.

Try and check/restore missing files via steam. (Libraby>ToS>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity)

Works fine for me.

Cheers, that’s it.
Self-targeting basically got deleted for those buffs, jay…

They’re still good, but very annoying to use.
Likely affects all buff type mobs, aka panto, desert chupa and merog shaman. + fisherman/sauga.

And ■■■■:

It’s an r1 buff, miko should remove it on hit with gohei…

Update 2:

Red Panto has a 5s cd on it’s movement buff, still the same “must target a enemy mechanic or buff won’t work” though.

Thank you for your feedback on the crashes

After lots of testing i found out the culprit!

Diev3 TP costume is causing the crashes! I will create a PSA on forums.

Three new oracle mobs found, I think that’s all the new exclusives.
Not gonna spam change for the new map mobs.

First is a basic red vubbe fighter, large beast, just a reskin of other large vubbes with a mace with crap skills.

Second is a companion chest, but it despawns a few seconds after spawning and as such I can’t test it while solo.

Third is an object without stats named observation orb. Medium plant according to tos.neet.

Did test the lady vampire, think it’s a physical skill based with a decent 2-3 hit linear aoe. Might be on par with pawnd dmg wise.

Transformation skills are working normally after maintenance. But Panto’s haste still got nerfed to 15s cd. T_T

EDIT: Nvm, did more testing, still buggy. At least quests are back…

Lycanthropy + OOB seems to work just fine. Hold Z and just press A,S,D,F normally.

Cheers for testing that.
So it got fixed or it was never broken to begin with? meh.

And can you test is lycan can use Possession/Out of Body while taking dmg, some reports stated it was interrupt immune.

Sadhu/Druid is a lot better then expected then though.

Not sure about Possession, Im only Sadhu C1 but OOB gets cancelled like normal when damaged.

And yes “Sadhruid” is really not that bad, the double MATK boosts OOB quite a bit as well while OOB’s attribute boosts Werewolf damage

PSA for transformed druids that can’t use “monster buffs” without an active target (the skill will cast but you do not get the effect).

The workaround is to have a key bound to the same key for it but with either a CTLR or SHIFT modifier.

Example: Panto Speed Buff (3rd slot) - mine is bound to the “3 key”.

If I press “3” without a target, it will go on CD but I don’t get the buff (blue icon).

If I press “CTRL + 3”, which I did not assign any skills/item to. It will apply the buff properly.

I noticed K-videos don’t know this because they always target mobs to apply their buffs while in Transformation. This way you can spam the speed buff (in this example), even if you’re alone.

Note:

Slot 1 (whatever you bind it to) doesn’t seem to have this issue.
In my screenshot, I can cast Divine Might without it accidentally using the basic Panto Attack.

Slot 2 and 3 are best to use this on (2nd and 3rd skill of the transformation)

Slot 4 You should make sure it’s not bound to any similar key with a CTRL or SHIFT modifier. YOU WILL END TRANSFORMATION PREMATURELY.

In my case: “4” key, should not have anything for CTRL+4 or SHIFT+4 (ignore Telepath on my screenshot, I never press it).

Forgot to mention:

if u can see the face over the M. exorcism i have only 1 think to say… thats scale with Atk

@Wurmheart

Hello! I’ve been leveling a Cleric2 > Priest1 > Diev1 > Monk1 > Druid2 > Inquisitor. When I hit Monk, I kinda felt like I punch a lot slower than the people in these videos: (itos), (ktos), (twtos)

Here’s my double punch speed:

Do you think it’s going to affect the build by so much that I probably should just not take Monk at all (reroll)?

Nice, flamme mage now has a 20s cd pillar of agony I think it was called.

I could have sworn they only had those 2 rubbish skills before…
Did we get access to new skills?

@tampon:
Bit hard to say honestly, it does look quite slow for you. Though I think it’s not to slow as to ruin the build but it will be very noticeable.

Double Punch is still a considerable upgrade over transform attacks though and ideal for use with the wheel, so I’d say stick with it for that build.

@DiMeowgio:
I can’t get that to work for me at all.

Make sure you have “yourself” as the target.
Works best for Mouse Mode players.

Press CTRL/SHIFT + (the key that is similar to your transformed skill). Make sure that slot is blank.

Make sure your mouse is pointed at yourself (blue outline on you).

So in my screenshot, I had a blue outline around my transformed self (look closely). That means I was “targeting myself”.

I wanted to activate the speed buff (3) by pressing CTRL + 3 (blank slot).

For purely KB mode/controller mode players, I guess play around with this and see if you can make it work. I don’t like pure KB mode. I don’t like controllers.

Okay cheers, I got it.

Also works on caro’s flame pillar btw.

Should work for all transformation skills that now rely on a “target” to be used, except probably for certain skills. But let’s be real, most of us are Pantos. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you for this!

Merog Shama 3s cd Safety Zone made clearing District 8 quests a bit easier (died around 12 times to complete the map questline as a duo)

On a different topic. Seems very unlikely a Druid3 is gonna use any of the new rods for two reasons:

  • Purple and Orange rods give SPR. Meaning your Lycanthropy is gonna drain even more SP
  • You need both, magic attack and physical attack to boost Lycan skills.
  • Purple mace gives a ridiculous amount of Physical attack and Magical attack. But enhancing/trascending wont increase the matt.
  • Orange mace has magic damage as its main attribute, so it can be enhanced/trascended while keeping the increase it gives on patt.

Sliaulav Mage (Altar Way) also has a pole of agony with a 20 ish cd and 20 hits.
Deals the same dmg as the caro’s flame pillar though, so should have a 50% mag attack scaling.

I wonder if IMC added more skills to mobs then just pole of agony…

They changed some boss skills from physical to magical (as they should be). A quick example is 132 DG’s Mineloader Red AoE (the one that splashes from him in all directions / not the purple one), used to be dodgeable, now it’s Magic. Harpeia’s Zaibas used to be physical (it misses), now it doesn’t.

For most of the new mobs, they cast ridiculous versions of what we have available.

Reminds me (not comparing) of Soul Strike (yes, from Ragnarok). I remember the base version can only reach up to Lv10 IIRC, but a monster or several monsters exist that can cast a Lv11 version of it with a way more ridiculous effect (and cooler animation).

Hi… diev3 druid3 user here… can you guys share what kind of boss card that you guys recommended to be slotted in?

Hi -

I have just recently been following this thread and I see you have so many great inputs. Would you have the time to answer some of my questions?

  1. Is transform possible using a controller. Some says its only good when you are on mouse mode. Also I try using transform and it cancels prematurely using controller when I press some skills. I am not very familiar how to set it up to work well.

  2. If there is a guide specific to transform mechanics/setups can you direct it to me?

  3. I am a kriv3>druid2>taoist and I want to utilize good damage. What insect mob is better at least if not better stats/skills, better aesthetically.
and insect makes more difference than panto or others? My zaibas currently deals 20k only per hit with storm calling.

Thanks in advance

Im not sure if it is stated in here or not but you can dash in werewolf form.
