[Class] Bokor Thread

Sadly, dispellers do not work in GvG…well not sure if sadly, it would kinda be a shitshow with them enabled.

I am not following what about inquisitor counters Bokor specifically? I get they are ‘anti-caster’ but mackangdal should still work as it is working even with inquis in the mix.

Miko I get, it will make bokor somewhat weaker but cleric classes are generally too strong in this build. Funny that the ‘cleric balancing’ class is also a cleric, but hey who is counting.

Not sure why you are jabbing about SPR priest in bokor topic, if only to attempt to get a rise out of me. I will avoid the bait, this time.

@Seiryuu @pedro.altoe

hello, what are your thoughts about this full con build for TBL:

@Wurmheart

Hey, could you explain to me a few things about those new mobs? It seems like you are someone who understand all that stuff.

How much HP do those 3k mdef mobs have?

How much mdef do those 500k HP mobs have?

How common are they? (~50% the population of specific maps or like elites for levels 120+?)

No personal experience, I was using https://tos-kr.neet.tv/npcs to check stats of the new mobs.

Just set lvl to 280-330 and check them out.
Ignore ET/GR/GBR and similar mobs, you want mobs with a “found in tab” to indicate they’re found in regular maps/dungeons.

Some examples in the ball park:

It’s mostly around the lvl 310-330 range, and most don’t have insane health & mdef. But some do.

And no I don’t believe it’s like specials a rework for existing mobs, should just be the new high tier mobs.

Still this mdef scaling has me worried.

@Wurmheart

I was not talking as if they were a rework for Elites.

Just that they were, for average mob, the new high tier mobs.

Thanks for all the help anyway :smiley:

i would swith Kabba2 for PD2, but if u want kabba u can go PD>Kabba

You want zombie spawn like crazy get the debuff skills that reduce the enemys def place zombify in the same area hex the enemy and let the zombies kill them instant zombie spawn.

Switch kabba2 with Inquisitor and you will kick ass.

And:

-1 Zombify (you dont need many of them, but wheelies are nice
-1 Mackangdal or Hexing (the difference isnt that big, but…)
+2 Samediveve (…you will get a movementspeed more here! Running faster than everything else except chronos is the key to knocking them down!)

Ive updated the build ;

Thoughts on Bokor 3 v Miko for PvP > PvE?

Bokor 3
More Bokor 2 + Zombie explode (with capsules)
Is the dmg that great or easy to use?

Miko
Dispel (if it even works in pvp)
Melee dmg buff (for World bossing)
Holy AoE (for leveling)

I’m leaning towards Miko for its higher utility, but the capsules + zombie boom has me wondering…

Oh and my planned build is
C2>Bok2>Pard1>X>PD2

*not interested in priest

I’m returning now to TOS.
Anyone know if the Bokor Zombie buff from KTos was already apllied in TOS?

go PD2 instead of kabba>inquis

Did you ever hit a zombie with r7 applied? Apprently not, because if you did you’d know how effective that is.

And since Miko can already dispell buffs you dont need PD2 for that.

@DacreFullbuster

You can as well exchange Miko for Oracle to get counter spell and prophecy for crashing magic tiles and preventing lvl 1 status debuffs. Whatever you prefer!

Also, keep 1 point in Damballa. Using its knockback is pretty usefull to crash the enemies formation in tbl (I personally use astral body explosion for that). If you dont want Damballa at all (its more for PvE anyways), I’d suggest to ditch the 3rd circle Bokor for Oracle for more utility.

Doubling for an answer to this question, the zombie buffs are scattered and I don’t know if we have an updated patch history site.

Incin+Pandemic+Plagu vapors+Buffs > everything kabbalist will ever offer

And yet he wants to do TBL. And whenever a pd2 meets a Inquisitor in TBL he will suffer.

edit: I stumbled upon a bug, nevermind xD

a little gif of my Scale Zombie attacking, you could use this for your guide :smiley:

gotta get all pics to the same size later on xD

I’m a little disillusioned with my bwakor. I decided to bring it up to 290 just for the dg rush after my archer and I find that my safest most efficient killing tool is still [tet mamak la]. Unless my target is flying, tet just does things so much “better”.

1.They create their own aggro so skulls tank for me. Hell they can even dodge. They have their own “body” so any damage they do does not break [fade]
2. They don’t scale off any stat it seems so my “statless build” (with about 225 unused stat points) doesn’t take anything away from their damage. I just have to stack as many skulls as I can to inc dps. With enough skulls, even elites and special mobs fall.

[bwa kayiman] is just too weak since the damage is a timed pulse. If it did damage on collision like with a warlock’s [dark theurge] then maybe it would do better (since it would scale with number of zombies and move speed, both of witch you have skills to increase them)

Individual zombie damage is still bad. This is compounded by the fact that zombies scale with the monster it was created from and not your lv. I’m out leveling content by 30 but zombies still do only 100’s in damage.

[dambala], though great, is just too cumbersome to rely on for questing.

Since Bwa Kayiman scales with your STR and DEX stat as well as the STR of the zombies, it’s almost natural to deal no damage on your statless build.

Same goes with the weak zombie damage: Ogouveve boosts their STR significantly based mainly on your INT-stat (INT/2 +x), meaning they’re easily missing alot of damage because of the lack of STR…

The keyword here is “efficient”. The main reason I don’t use my stat point is “I don’t wanna have to reset later” (because we already know how IMC likes to flip the meta on its head), but to a lesser extent “placing stats into STR or INT does nothing for my most efficient skill”.

I mean look, let’s say I increase my STR to 400 resulting in bwa doing 1400 instead of 1000 per pulse. That’s a 40% increase in damage (and it’s great) but because the damage is a channeled pulse it is too slow for stuff I need to kill now. Also, that would be “expensive as fck". I woulda spent 225 stat points to increase a really low dps skill for a really low amount. Now compare that to 1 skull I can fire and forget that bites for 200 to 300 every 0.5 sec. I only need about 3 skulls (with 0 STR investment) to match bwa (with 225 STR investment). That is "cheap as fck”.

On to zombie damage. Dumping all that into INT will net around 400 matk. That is 200 damage on something I can’t control. They bite for 200 to 300 as well but I don’t control what they bite. A 100% increase in damage will still mean 0 dps if they don’t bite what I need them to bite. Skulls are just good little soldiers. They bite who I want, when I want and they don’t stop (not even for a root crystal) until they die.
