[Class] Bokor Thread

Like resist elements, only debuffs when cast.

Maybe it doesnt increase damage but it is a debuff, so you can increase Incinerator duration (I confirm that). A this debuff is permanent, dont have time countdown

One more thing, Damballa core consumes 3 zombie each blow. If your Damballa deals 6k damage (like you see in the screen) and 3 zombies are consumed in this explosion, so the damage will be 6k x 3 = 18k.

So if you max Damballa, consume total 15 zombies so the damage will be 6k x 15 = 90k damage on EACH mob.

Finally, i solo and clear uphill

@trongdanh0604 thatā€™s amazing mate, any video on how you did it ??

I cant. Because iā€™m very lucky when I do this, haha.
I just use Zombify and Damballa.

Just another uphill clear, mwahahaha.
I figure out how to clear it now, but it still hard since I have low Zombify level. If you have about lv10 zombify, you can clear it easier.

And about Diev or Oracle. If you want to clear uphill like me, you have to be immune to spell, meaning 5 point on Prophecy or Bloodletting. Just only 1 sleep or Frozen would kill you.

Diev means 20% cooldown reduction and SP regen, but Oracle means 5 points saving for PD. And Oracle means Silver too :v, paying 6m for attribute and you can farm silver and item easier (although the mob in rank 8 is almost Elite, but you can farm item in low level for your collection). Thank for Change, I farm my Virtov plate set easier (only hard when farm Royal guard greaves since the mob drops it being Elite, others parts is dropped from small mob, able to Change).

Hey thanks for the reply, you just made my choice even harderā€¦ Lol

Seems I have a lot to think about. I always tend to regret my decisions lol.

I was also thinking bout going the route of:

Cleric C2 - Bokor C2 - Diev - Pardoner - PD C2

But then I lose Damballa, although watching videos I see with this build Uphill is still solo-able. I donā€™t knowā€¦ So many options; so much head ache.

Although in the videos and Iā€™ll reference Kims builds, he doesnā€™t use Zombies at all but uses Zombify just as another debuff. Which makes me sad; One of the reasons I love Bokor is those well animated, stupid little things Lol.

Posted this is another Thread as well but:

Hereā€™s a couple builds iā€™m playing around idea wise with. As well as Kims Bokor Build.

INT/CON 5/1(2)

or

or

All of this makes my head hurt, Iā€™m literally trying to figure out where I want to go. Iā€™m already Cleric C2 - Bokor C2 so my choice is coming up soon.

Edit: I actually have a Cleric C2 - Bokor C2 - Krivis C2 - PD but I just donā€™t like the direction I took with the build. Need a Stat/skill reset too! Lol. #ToSLife

Kims build looks really nice. I guess it boils down to liking playing with Zombies where as his, doesnā€™t really use them at all.

@Wurmheart Hey thanks for the reply. It was my first initial build but after reading to much of the forums, and then doing a ton of theory crafting to what suits my style of playā€¦ (as well as watching videos. That third build Kim has a lot and is pretty damn awesome) it kinda made me halt. Lol

If I really want to squeeze Miko in Bokor-PD build (solely due to her cuteness), which of the following 3 routes do you guys think would be the best?

a. Bokor3-Miko-PD2
b. Bokor2-Diev-Miko-PD2
c. Bokor2-Pard-Miko-PD2

All three are PVE-oriented builds. With Bokor2, I will mainly focus on Hexing and Effigy. If I go Bokor3, then I might put some skill points into zombie-relating skills.

I am eager to see your opinions on this. Many thanks before hand!

Imo A:

Damballa has really good scaling, and zombies do seem useful as distractions at least.

Pardoner will do more dmg vs bosses, but due to how strong incineration/vapors already are to begin with it wonā€™t be noticeable for most mobs. (Likely only on the 3k magic defense or 500k ish special mobs.)

Dievdirby doesnā€™t really add much for such a build, sure the cd reduction is nice but thatā€™s about it.

Dont trust this solo Uphill video.
That player deal 6k damage/hit by using Vapour. You know base damage of that skill only 1k/hit. If you want to deal 6k damage, it means you must have about >2k Matk and 80-90% attribute.

If you want to solo like him, you must get rank 8 and 80 - 90% attribute of Incinerator and Vapour. Can you earn about 22m for 80% Incinerator attribute?

My Damballa is only 50% and i use a Circle rod +3 (my Matk is about 1k2)

You should watch the solo Uphill video of 2 PD, 1 Bokor and 1 Kri. (that video is in this thread too).

Iā€™ve watched a few different videos. Kim has a whole list of videos, and yes, he is fairly well geared and attributed. A question about your build if you will. Just in case I do decide to go Bokor C3.

How many points invested in Bwa & Damballa?

Iā€™m really fighting the urge to go Bokor C2 - Diev - Oracle - PD2 Lol. But doing my homework although as I said earlier, Iā€™ve had a couple bokor PDā€™s since EA. They were a product of early learning Lol.

Hi there !

It is possible to nullify Mackangdal accumulated damage with Counter Spell when the effect end ? ( I see that on a PvP video )

Also, in PvP and GvG too (not PvE, I hate PvE :3), Are Bokor c3 + PD c2 really that effective in terms of DPS ? I saw a lot of videos and it seems to me that bokor effigy + hexing use a lot SP, do little damages ( Iā€™m focused on PvP/GvG so full CON ?), can easily be ā€œcounteredā€ by some heal tiles, bloodleting etcā€¦ And ā€œnerfā€ a lot our mobility (because of animation)ā€¦

Plus the only PDā€™s skill that do a lot damages ( Incineration ) is very difficult to land because of its very small range, so the only way for us to do some decent damages is if the ennemy is motionlessā€¦

Well, all of that are just supposition, Iā€™m actually just a little Cleric c2 Bokor c1 :3, and I hesitate a lot between:

  • cleric2 bokor3 miko1 pd2 ( for a lot of ā€œstatus ailment controlā€, but the gameplay seems very boringā€¦ I like to be polyvalent (mobility/heal/buff/damage) )

And

  • Cleric2 Bokor3 Oracle Kabalist Inquisitor ( can be very polyvalent i think ), but the Miko Gohei ( ecrase all the buff of ennemy with 4 overheat --ā€™ā€¦ And can also delete counter spell, safety zone etcā€¦) and the PD Disenchant ( nullify counter spell, safety zone, prophecy, mackangdal, ein sof -> iā€™m naked :ā€™( ) scare me and also interest me a lot xDā€¦

So Iā€™m here to have some advices from more experienced player

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english :innocent:

Bokor is for PD.

Cleric 2 Bokor 3 Miko PD 2 should be a VERY strong build.

for Kabbalist you can probably skip Bokor.

Bokor is dead in pvp, only go near it if you want a full pve build.

  • Mackangdal is countered by both inquisitor & miko atm. (mm turns invulns into not so invulns, might be a bug.) And miko outright removes it.

  • Getting hexing to stick is tricky as bloodletting still prevents it, and miko can easily remove it when cast.

  • And ofc rhevisian sets make effigy dmg useless to begin with if enemies wear them.

Ow sh*t okay :frowning:ā€¦

Really thanks for this information, and so :

  • Cleric 2 ( for heal / safety zone / Divine Might)
  • Diev 3 ( for sustain/support + damage ?)
  • Oracle ( for Counter Spell / Prophecy / Forecast ( I heard that forcast can ā€œbreak a stunā€ or something like that in PvP ))
  • Kabalist ( for RS  / Ein Soft  / Merkabah ( I think that this skill suck cause the animation is too longā€¦ :s))
  • Inquisitor for massive damage against magic user

Can be a good alternative ?

Edit: replied to wrong user.
Inquisitor malleus debuff makes every DoT tick deal (enemy magic attack) in damage, this damage bypasses mackangdal invulnerability. I hope this is a bug, it seems it is quite easy to overlook by the devs.

Someone know where sixaxis went?

Can be decent, though if possible try to work miko in a pvp build.
The buff/debuff removal is insanely good and can counter most cleric defenses.

1 point for Bwa and 5 for Damballa

Indeed, Bokor is only strong in 2v2. Because they are immortal with full CON build in 2v2, I have a friend who has 48k hp and he is a monster in 2v2 (and only 2v2, not 5v5).

I think no class are OP in 5v5. The problem is your teamate and your cooperation. And the fact is, almost players are dumb  Bokor can be strong in 2v2 because they can 1 vs 2

Bokor is dead in pvp

Yeah no. Plenty of bokor players in 2v2, 5v5, and GvG. Mackang is part of the GvG meta.

Hex+effigy is very powerful in 5v5 since it is one of the debuffs that prophecy canā€™t deal with. Bloodletting is a short duration, easy to wait out. Mackang is strong since you can absorb tons of damage and then negate the downside with a well-placed safety zone. The speed boost helps a bunch as well.

Honestly, bokor 2 is one of the stronger options for pvp out there.

Sadly, once again that is only true if we take itos as it is right now and ignore upcoming changes.
(Or if they got altered prior to getting to us.)

However, I figure itā€™s only fair to give a warning for upcoming changes that can render certain sub classes unfit for specific roles.
And thatā€™s why I stated what I did.

And arguably I should have been clearer with the atm part, I meant atm in ktos.
We donā€™t have miko or inquisitor yet obviously, so bokor is still of some decent use.

Though I canā€™t help but worry that your obsession with recommending bokor and spr priest has nothing to do with wanting to give good advice.

Donā€™t dispeller scrolls work in gvg? miko has rank 2 status preventing onesā€¦
