[Class] Bokor Thread

Thanks guys.
I didnt know druid 1 scales that bad so im not going for it i guess.

is cle2>bokor3>pard1>pd2 (without zombie ofc) potentially good? i know its very costly and going for cle2>bokor2>diev1>pard1 or cle2>bokor2>diev2 path is most solid but i feel like there is no choice if i go for more offensive pd-doctor build…

I would argue as the game progresses, effigy will continue to improve as it uses a multiplier instead of flat damage. Mathematically as MATK gets higher and higher, the difference between Level 10 and 15 should increase. This is, of course, just theory crafting though and would really depend on how high IMC plans to limit our MATK. I am making a Cleric 2 > Bokor 3> Pardoner > PD2 so I can let you know … one day. I just hit Pardoner today. I am initially trying out Zombies, but I’ve been told that they’re weak in 280+ content so I will reset if I find that to be true.

What’s disappointed me so far is that I failed to realize that Effigy is ping-based. Kind of a no-brainer but the thought didn’t occur to me until I noticed that the ktos folks are spamming effigy slightly faster than I am on Telsiai (not from Singapore). Oh well :(.

On a side note; didn’t know Dispeller scrolls could be crafted without a single point in Simony. :D.

Anyways, good luck in your choice!

What is damballa’s maximum target mean ?? 6 means 6 zombies exploded ??

how about if 2 or more zombies exploded simultaneously?

I believe it means zombies exploded; Doesn’t matter if they are at the same time. What’s cool is the zombies resurrect (moderate chance) and blow up again. The play style is much different though than just effigy spamming; and sometimes i wonder if I waste too much time focusing on aiming the Damballa + grouping up the zombies; Hopefully it gets better with more practice.

Best method for zombie grouping I found so far is to take full advantage of the teleport mechanism that occurs when your zombies are too far. This mechanism doesn’t activate when bwa is active, and the zombies don’t follow you properly if you activate bwa just before they teleport; thus, if you time it correctly, you can bwa to a boss before they teleport, and when you stop using bwa, the zombies will all spawn since they’re too far away. If there are no mobs, you don’t even have to use Tet since they’ll focus on the boss.

Thanks for the input! I really appriciate it!

till what level Krausas Mace will still be relevant for leveling?

@kamuitouma

170 or 220, only trade it for Catacombs Club or Superior Corona Rod.

It seems 6 mean MAXIMUM 6 zombies exploded. When you max your Damballa, it means 15 maximum zombies exploded. The fact is each explode uses maximum 3 zombies, so it means the Damballa core can explode up to 5 times (i’m not sure about that, but you can test it when you play versus many mobs like Uphill defend, it blows many times and I dont have time to count it). Damballa damage and aoe is very huge, so just MAX it and enjoy the damage.

I tested low level damballa before, and it is very weak. Max Damballa is a MUST.

Today, I went solo Uphill. And i reached stage 27. Hope IMC will give skill reset at the end of this event, I can reset my skill to optimize the damage and i think i can clear uphill by myself. When i clear it, i will post the picture

Really dont understand what you say, haha.
I dont need to group Zombie to kill Boss, because zombies are very useless versus boss, Boss knock them out and Zombies need much time to recover the aggro. I just lure them near the boss them Damballa them all.
And if you want to kill mobs with Damballa, just do the following steps:

  1. Cast Safezone to protect yourself then Zombify on a group of mobs.
  2. Use Incinerator and Cure to kill the mobs in order the spawn new zombies.
  3. The zombie will spawn in the middle of the Zombify circle. So you can choose 1 in 2 ways:
3.1. Dont move any step, cast Damballa. Damballa core will appear on the other side of the Zombify Circle. Then you can throw the Tet to lure zombie to Damballa core, or you use Bwa to lure Zombie to Damballa core. You will miss 1 or 2 explode of you use this way.
3.2. Step back 1 or 2 steps. Then cast Damballa. Damballa core will appear in the middle of the Zombify circle, where Zombie will spawn. You will not miss any explodes but you have to leave your safe zone -> can be hit by mobs and you have to practice much to cast Damballa on the exactly point.

Your mob technique is what i use as well. Works very well.

Edit: Removed wall of text to keep things civilized

is Pandemic lvl 1 enough for BokorDoctor Hexing in general purpose?

No. Get it at least lvl 3. But I would recommend lvl 5+ due to PD 2 making Pandemic’s area bigger.

awts… gonna sacrifice something then :frowning:

If you want pve, you can get rank 6 Oracle. You can save 5 points for Bloodletting because you got 5 point in Oracle Prophecy instead.
I think i will get 10 Inci, 5 Plague vapour, 7 Healing and 8 Pandemic. (I focus only on pve. no pvp)

I already planned to get Oracle in rank 6 and maxed Prophecy. Bloodletting is for lvl 2 debuff prevention.

If you focus on PvE, Prophecy is enough. You will be immune to slow, frozen, silence or poison skill from mobs.
Bloodletting is an unlimit version of prophecy and is useful in PvP.
If you can find a skill from mob is lv2 ailement, so go get Blood.
The difference between Prophecy and Bloodletting is Bloodletting has unlimit count debuff. But i never run out Prophecy debuff count when i solo Uphill. So i think Prophecy debuff count number is enough.

the last box lol

I just found this
Arcane energy attribute is a debuff to add holy property attack.
For example: I hit 100 damage on boss who has got arcane energy lv1 attribute debuff, he will receive 100 + 1 holy property attack. (I cannot test it yet, because I only get lv1 attribute, 1 damage is too small to test, and I can not pay much money to get lv100 attribute to test)

The most important thing is “This is a DEBUFF”, it means that Incinerator can last longer (like other debuff like Hex …)

So this is a good point for choose Oracle for rank 6 after bokor C3.

P/S: I dont know why I cannot make a new topic, this forum is so dumb. Someone please create a new topic about this? You just copy my reply and post on new topic.

Arcane Energy currently only deals x dmg (equal to attribute) and adds that debuff.
It does not increase damage enemies take.

Kind of hoping it’s a bug, but it’s been around forever.

is it working like aura debufff (as long we have the buff, near mob will get debuff) ? or just like resist element that working first hand on cast ?
