[Class] Bokor Thread

If we’re still talking about PvP here, you might want to keep that Krivis C1 for when your Hexing doesn’t land or the enemy has Bloodletting on them, and you can’t Effigy because of it.

Happens about every 1s, even if you have 6 Zombies touching one target.

Welcome, stalker. o/

Read your plans. Now for your questions:

It’s no problem, assuming you’re wearing mostly up-to-date plate armor. You can also throw Tet Mamak La into the area ahead and the monsters will aggro onto it, allowing you to rush in with Bwa Kayiman afterwards.

Their sustainability is fine. Their damage is what becomes insignificant because of the monsters gaining high HP pools. Even with that Triple stats buff they recently got in kToS, their DPS will stay pretty much the same for end-game, unless you go out of your way to build specifically for Zombie DPS.

Such a good friend you have. When I had a Guildie do that for me while I was low-level in Thaumas Trail, he let the mob aggro and one-shot me. :c

I solo grinded at Demon Prison from 150 something until 160 (I partied for 1 level) and got a level once every 40 - 70 mins thanks to Bwa -> lure -> Damballa. As long as you don’t forget your daily Missions and daily Quests from Fedimian, and eat your Lv7/8 EXP cards @ Lv160, you’ll pass it just fine.

Now for your build:

  • Cleric C2

  • Since you plan on using this for PvP, you can take 1 to 2 points away from Cure for Safety Zone, and and 1 point away from Cure for Deprotected Zone (Assuming you’re including SPR into your stat distribution) for use on Bosses when in a party.

    • Cure: -1 to -3 points
    • Safety Zone: +1 to +2 points
    • Deprotected Zone: +1 points
  • Bokor C3

  • You can drop 2 points from Zombify for Samediveve. 7 Zombies is still enough to Bwa efficiently and it matches up with your Damballa’s maximum targets.

    • Zombify: -2 points
    • Samediveve: +2 points
  • Chaplain (Filler)

  • This can be replaced with Druid or Pardoner; preferably Druid.

  • Plague Doctor

  • This is fine.

Well we go there anyways for grynas set which i will be using end game until lolo, heck i might even skip loloplate and go for cloth there.

I thank you alot for your answers.

I have access to all relevant class gems so i wonder if Same 6 or 7 is better, i wonder, do i keep the bonos lvl of buff applied when Divine Might runs out ?

I have no Idea about Druid but its very appealing to me, especially as getting more invincibility with R8+ being a possibility i might go for it.

I reconsidered and fixed a bit

hi so right now im at C1>K1 and im planing on advancing into one of these builds:

Pardoner: https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#413441ae.1a2835415561.11243545.172a3145516175.35.12253553
does discerning evil makes Incineration last longer? or it doenst do anything for Incineration?

Druid: https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#4134415e.1a2835415561.11243545.172a3143516375.152565.12253553
in this case i was thinking about the added dps i can get with carnivory plus the telepath utility if i ever decide to pvp?

Bokor3: https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#4134441e.1a2835415561.11243545.172f31415161798595.12253553
getting more dmg from effigy to plus getting Damballa for a bit more dmg while leveling

now my question is wich of these builds would have the most potential late game im mainly a solo player but this time around i have a couple of friends that are playing with me i want to focus on a aggresive support char (thats what i usually play in mmos XD) btw im mainly a pve player?

Also how would u allocate the points between safety zone and cure? and the main issue i have with my skill allocation is on pd i know i need incineration(main reason i want to make one XD) and pandemic wich will allow my effigy to be a aoe any help will be greatly appreciated

ps sorry for my bad English

Hi Guys, need some suggestions here on my build. I’m currently running an INT zombie bokor build. My original plan was:
C1> C2> B1> B2> B3> C3 > Kab1

I’m at Rank 5 B3 right now. Not sure if it would be better to swap out rank 6 C3 for something else. The Idea was that C3 with lvl15 heals will be enough to support both my zombies and party members.

edit: Am considering either Paladin for Restoration or Kirvis for Aukuras. But not too sure how well that would work out…

Hi All,

I just joined recently and I normally play summoning classes, which is why Bokor is so interesting.

I like zombies, but most builds that don’t go Bokor C3, level zombify to level 3…but the attribute on Bokor C2 lets to increase the amount of zombies? how high can you level it?

Also, thoughts on the build below? i know most go PD but unsure if going 2nd druid will gimp me at all…i just want more of the transformation skills haha.
Cleric > Krivis > Bokor > Bokor > Krivis > Druid > Druid

or

Cleric 2 is pretty much required with a few exceptions (that exception being Priest 3 and even then Cleric 2 is still good).

Cleric 1 just won’t leave you with enough healing.

Hey guys. I got a question to ask

how many enemies can hexing affect?

and does AoE attack ratio increase the number of enemies that can be hexed?

thanks

Hex has an AoE Ratio of SkillLevel+1. Sadly, AoE Ratio boosting gears/buffs do not increase this.

I don’t have the link with me at the moment but i believe every level of hexing adds 1 AOE ratio starting with 2 at level 1. AOE ratio should add to the skill too

If in a bokor build Cleric C2 is good or required for better healing, would leaving Krivis c1 be worth it? or should I scrap it all together and replace with Bokor C3 or another tree?

The answer is…it depends.

I mainly depends on what you want, but a few thoughts.

A big reason most people take Krivis 2 is for Zaibas and it’s attribute so that they can have a way to attack flying monsters (not discounting Zaibas as an overall incredible DPS skill). Clerics in general don’t by default have a way to attack flying monsters and some method of doing so is pretty much required.

Bokor doesn’t need a way to hit flying targets since HexEff can already do a pretty decent job at it.

So Krivis isn’t as much necessary for a Bokor as it can be for other builds that would fail miserably at attacking air targets otherwise.

That being said, like I said earlier it mostly depends on what you want. Krivis still has one of the best Cleric attacks in the game, and taking Krivis would create a more offensive Cleric, but you can also take other options if you prefer more support instead.

I mean every choice is like this, and a Cleric without C2 and pure offensive picks like your original build is also a preference,…one that everyone you party with in a dungeon will hate because you don’t have enough healing to keep them alive, but if you don’t plan to dungeon and mostly solo then it’s still an option.

The point is that it all depends on what you want. In terms of DPS though it’s hard pressed to beat that 1 level of Krivis, but that DPS is pretty much ALL that Krivis provides so it’s just a question of whether you want to be that all in for DPS or if you are fine taking a weaker DPS option for more support.

Thanks for your reply.

I’m leaning towards more the support side, so cleric C2. In dungeons, is that enough to be considered a healer or do parties still preference priest buffs and such, since it has resurrect, blessing etc.

In your opinion what would be a good class to fill if i were to do a build like below, as I want to be able to support as healer and solo farm with bokor if needed:

Cleric > Cleric > Bokor > Bokor > ___ > Druid > Druid

could someone explain me about combo Mackangdal + Damballa ? use mackangdal in zombies and use Damballa, the mobs taken the damage from damballa ? the zombies still alive ater this I can use damballa again ? before mackangdal End ? (damballa 10s cd/mackangdal 11s cd lv 1)

I’ve tried this myself. I’m a C2, B3 at the moment. The zombies remain alive after being buffed by Mackangdal when used by Damballa. But dies once Mackangdal buff ends. Unfortunately the attribute to spawn new zombies dosn’t seem to trigger with this combo =(

Might I request the following be added to the information on [bwa kayiman]

  1. It is classified under channeling (so all the weaknesses built into channeling skills apply)
  2. It doesn’t do its damage on contact between a zombie and a target but rather damage is applied at a set interval (my observation is at 1 per sec but it could be longer - giving the skill maybe 1000% damage mod on full duration)
  3. You don’t have to move to apply its damage.
  4. Some movement impairing effects stop the train (ex: zombies walking over caltrop will stop the train)

right…but the mobs taken the damage afeter this combo ? maybe I will create my build based in this combo.

Mackangdal 1x Damballa 2x after this buff’s ends… ( I imagine this combo in siluai mercenary in 1 first boss)

you could record a video for I see?

wont pick PD as my r7 class, want to max hexing, how good the hexing lv 10 will be?

Mobs do take damage from the combo. There should be a better build that involves priest’s revive that lets you use Damballa 2x. I’ve seen someone tested it on another post though unfortunately I’ve lost the link to it. But it goes something like this:

  • Mackangdal > Damballa
[At this point zombies should still survive due to Mackangdal]
  • Revive
[Zombie recieve damage from Daballa after Mackangdal falls off but should be saved by Reraise]
  • Damballa [2nd Damballa finishes off zombies]

I have Hexing at 6 right now and stop there to allocate points to other skills. IMHO there’s not a need to add more. +6 gives you 7AOE ratio. Furthermore, hexing itself has a really small AOE radius. So it’s really hard to get 11 mobs all within that small radius of the skill (assuming the mobs have only 1 AOE defence).

Which leaves the only other benefit to max Hexing is for the Duration which is at 24secs for a 9sec CD skill. The additional mdef debuff doesn’t really scale well IMHO.

Above mentioned suggestions are based on my personal experience playing Bokor. I may have missed something else so please correct me if there is anything I may have missed.

Hello there fellow Bokors, this is my first time posting and all i want to say is thank you for the replies on this topic, it provided so much information and also made me create a bokor aswell, btw i’m loving the class so far (going for rank 5 soon).
Would appreciate some advice on my build though: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/qy8tcwdf2u/
Specially on rank 5, as i dont know if i should take zombify 10 (maybe its too much?) or save some points and invest on samedi/ougou/mackgandal.
