There’s two names that you choose. One is the name all your characters on a given account have added to the end, like a last name, the other is the specific character name that multiple people can use. Personally I find the 2 name system superior in every way to the single IGN system. FFXIV uses this system and it’s rare to not be able to find an IGN you like.

Welp, I can only say that, be careful to all of you that has posted their names in this thread.
Chances that trolls that lurks in this thread will take your pretty name and pretty much destroy you mentally inside lol.

They can always add xxx in front and back of their family names, in case their name are taken.

I already have a lot of names in mind, the last name is more difficult because it has to fit with all the others. :smiley: Not sure about posting them though, haha.

I like the family name thing, but now I’ll have to find one that works well for all my character…

I love this idea with the Nick and “Family” Name :flushed:
I don’t know yet, about the family name, but my Main will have the nickname Bloom :slight_smile:

The official term for now is team name. And I’m sure some type of coupling aspect may be added but I think IMC will cross that bridge when they get there.

idk about my last name/team name/family name, I will decide on the spot… but for 1st name/nick, I will go for Jochira, since he’s my OC RP char X3 (and I Always uses that name on the internet so)

Putting effort in thinking on a name and putting it here seems like a bad idea to be honest, someone with better luck and better internet than you could take it if he/she likes it.

Hah! I knew there’s already a thread like this (was about to start a new one).

I thought since people are so active in those threads below, I could ask people about their IGNs (and maybe include the server?). I know it’s probably in this thread somewhere (too lazy to analyze the whole thread), but you know, it might have changed being that it has been a while and the game won’t be coming out “SOON:TM” (hoping I’m wrong on this one).

My Team Name: Equirus
Character Names: Soldis, Una/Unna/Oona, Magnus, Astridd, Sylvana

Not that I’ll be making lots of characters but just something to pick from instead of thinking by the time I choose a class.

I’m honestly not sure yet. I’ll be playing on Lima bea… Laima. That server :smiley: I’ll figure out the name as time goes on. I’m a very of the moment type creative person. I’m sure It’ll have something to do with Risk and/or Riot though.

Tried asking on a different forum how the Team Naming system works.
What are the restrictions (special character, space in between, etc)
Anyone able to confirm?

I go by AlpacaGoddess as Team Name and Resu as Character Name ^o^
