Names of pokemon, anime characters, horsemen of the apocalypse, famous dragons and even Robert Downey Jr.!
What will be some of yours? I’m Taking Alucard , with some luck Reaper and Silver or Quilava, I love Quilava.
Keep in mind that the characters we make in the CBT probably won’t go to the live servers, there will be an wipe.

In Tree of Savior, you will have a family name and another regular nickname.
Your family name is exclusive and can’t be copied by the others if you already choose it. For your regular nickname, it can be copied by others.
So if you choose Alucard as your nickname and you choose Vladmir as the family name. Your name is Alucard Vladmir. There is a possibility that others also use Alucard as their nickname, so maybe you will find someone playing as Alucard Roman (Roman as family name), Alucard Black (Black family name), and so on. But if you choose Vladmir as your family name, you won’t find others using James Vladmir because Vladmir is already taken by you.
Ooh, character names. I think all of you should refer to this visual explanation of the naming system because it’s really, really different, but very familiar if you’ve played Granado Espada. Just ignore the “Family Name” part, since the official term is “Team Name” 
I assume they use a unique ID to identify players, and just have nametags you can freely change. It’s a nice change as opposed to paid name changes like in WoW.

I’m pretty sure they will, because it makes no sense for me to make name changing free. It was free during the Korean CBTs though.

If I remember correctly, yes. Your whole barrack belongs to 1 family name.
I have a (stupid) question about it, do you think wedding will make that the wife and husband will have the same family name?

However, I hate First + Last naming mechanics in games. Especially if it’s going to be linked to all my characters. A lot of my character names are just one word, and if I broke them up into multiple parts (which is what I do when there’s a two name system) it would only work for one of my names, making the rest of them look weird / have some random word attached to the end.
However, there is no real solution to this unless they lift the entire system. If you hid just the team name, you’d have a character with a name that was possibly not exclusive, making PM’ing impossible. Honestly, this throws a massive wrench in my name choices 
I have been totally spoiled by PSO2, where you can have whatever name you want since all communication is linked to your unique player ID instead of your character name
