I have noticed quite obvious differences regarding targeting with channeled skills.
A. Archer multishot - attacks a location and very easy to use
B. Wizard like energy bolt - attacks current target, also easy
C. This is a nuisance especially, cataphract skills. Channeling starts to face the cursor - fine as is, but if you move and release your skill it will instead attack in the direction you are facing - not good when dodging boss area attacks. Improvement would be to always attack to cursor direction.
