No, you do have to explain why selling Lolopanther gear is a worse idea then current magic scrolls system.
Because it’s just as bad.
I’ve given some suggestions how to change it.
1)Make it less RNG and increase drop chance to 1-2%. Just above.
2)Let it be RNG, but increase drop chance to 5-30%.
3)Decrease number of active hats to 1, while keeping the stats OR lower the stats, and let people hide the hats they want to hide(if it’s not yet avialble).
4)Combine all 3 of those variants so the difference between payers and non payers will be in amount of time to get perfect geat. But after 6 months of play every player who regularly does dungeons should with almost 100% chance get good enough headgear.
It’s not like I don’t have money to buy Cash Shop stuff, but I don’t want to gamble like this using my money. I see no problems with gambling using ingame “currency” though. If stats were fixed (chosen by player), I’d get those Magic Scrolls for sure. But right now it’s really bad part of the game and should be eliminated/changed.
I think lots of players will eventually quit if that’ll keep up. kToS is a good example. Maybe it’s not the main reason why servers are empty, but it’s definitely one of the reasons.
