actually now i am a little worried that stabbing will knock back, since stabbing behave like normal atk.
maybe it is not bad of a thing… maybe i can space it just right and turn someone into a ping pong ball after impale.

Trident triple hit on large monster work with stabbing. Only skill i know work like that.
Other skills do that too.The last time I had a trident, lol which was quite some time ago, Earth Wave and Doom Spike did triple hit.
No. They dont triple dmg from trident. No cata skill work like stabbing.
Just tested it, bought a Trident. Yes Earth Wave and Doom Spike do fake triple hits, instead of their fake 5 hits lol… Bash also works as well as Double Slash, Dragontooth and Steed Charge.
I would make a video to show, but seems like a waste of time lol

wait i m trying to understand the trident effect with doom spike and earth wave… is it 3 instead of 5 or 5x3 = 15 hits or something else. I m using Galin Trident now and i haven t noticed anything
Galin makes no difference in EW or DS. Or Rush. Aside from the extra level, of course.
Have you guys tested with dragoon’s skills? Those are true multi-hit so I’m thinking at might work, like with stabbing. If it does, then Galin is potentially the best dps spear for Dragoon C2 o.o, if they don’t, galin’s worth ****. Funny though, it’s a weapon intended for Cataphracts and it doesn’t work with their skills…
Galin Trident just seems to give fake hits. When I tested the damage a while back, it was just my normal damage but split up for no reason I could think of, other than style points.
Also this was on Large-type monsters, are you guys testing it on Large ones? Seems I’ll need to make a video anyway lol

@kyokahn they just make your hits look messier I guess. Doesn’t seem to improve DPS at all, but I’ll test it to make sure xD

You have to do it twice, 1 Stabbing with Galin Trident and 1 Stabbing with a 2h spear that has close to the same min/max as Galin Trident. What you are showing right now is incomplete. How can you say significant increase when there’s no base to judge the “SIGNIFICANT increase” from? o.O
Here’s a video showing the fake hits. Slow the speed to 0.5x if it’s too fast.
In the mean time, I’ll go slap some high level Large monsters to see if there is a dps increase.

ok i might sound like a noob but who cares. What do you guys mean by fake multi hits? Like your normal dmg divide by amout of hits?
how is fake multi hits =/= real multi hits? exemple EW and Stabbing
